Hi,

I tried to start a New Game or Continue or Load an old one, but nothing happens. New Game and Load Game still open "windows" to select the options of the new game or selection of a save game repectively. However it is impossible to proceed from there.

Furthermore, the background animation died after a short while and there is no sound.

Here is the output I got after I started the game from a terminal to get some feedback.

Just downloaded the Windows version and ran it with wine and it worked fine. No error messages in the terminal either.

There's a report that you can move linux exe and project.binary to the folder with win64 game version and it should work, can you try it?

Having the exact same issues on a Mac. I thought it was a Mod issue and reported it as suchreported it as such, but now I see it is bigger than that.

Moving the linux binary to the windows folder works just fine. So it seems files inside the linux archive are messed up.

That is a "no go" on he Mac. It just refuses to find the files no matter where I put them - in the Win64 folder with the executable, in the Application Support/Strive for Power2 folder, on the root directory. The log it spits up keeps reporting the same issues with only a few minor differences between the initial problems I had and now.

0.7.0a is working on my Mac - I can load my saved games and the main menu does not freeze. I don't have time to delve any deeper into finding any other issues at the moment.

0.7.0a fixes the issue for linux, too. So, thanks @Strive4Power
