Boss Battle Music

Good Day My Friends. I Have A Question To Ask. Why Do Most Boss Battle Music Have More Impact Than Other Music In The Game Example The Normal Music For A Fight In A Game Will Be Very Basic But When The Boss Comes The Whole Music Will Change Into Orchestral Lot Of instruments And Tone And The Final Boss Will Have A Very Different Orchestral Music Lot Of People Singing In Latin ( Looking At You Final Fantasy 7 ) So Does Anyone Knows Way

I see it as a transition.

And, well, transitions tend to add to games (in my opinion at least).

I see it as a "Make or Break" point in the progress of a game.  The boss battle is more significant that what lead up to it so you need something playing in the background that says, "Hey, this is big deal!  Take it seriously!" or something to that effect.

Are you asking why developers choose more impactful music for Boss fights or how to make music intended for Boss fights?

Why do they make the boss fight music more impactful like as if 50% of the music budget when into it

Boss fights are meant to be the hardest levels in a game (especially the final boss level). The music should hype up the player and make the level feel extra exciting

And By The Way Why Is The Chorus Always A Group Of People Singing In Latin

It's just a stylistic choice. There's an article on TV Tropes that may give you the answer you're looking for TV Tropes: Ominous Latin Chanting

Why are you capitalizing the first letter of every word? It makes your comments hard to read

Thanks Bud

Sorry if that came off as rude, I'm just genuinely confused. Does it have something to do with the device you're using, or do you just prefer title case? I noticed that you don't do it consistently either.

Edit: After looking through your post history I'm going to assume the title case thing is part of a bit. Carry on, I guess

By The Way What Do You About The Game I Am Making

lol Ignored

They have to cover up that the boss isn't actually fun :P

Music in games delivers feeling or vibe that player should feel in certain situations. Notably in boss battles and rush scenes, music will be different than regular levels/maps/stages/etc to give vibe of be serious or hurry up, respectively to the former.

When The Boss Comes The Whole Music Will Change Into Orchestral Lot Of instruments And Tone And The Final Boss Will Have A Very Different Orchestral Music Lot Of People Singing In Latin
You really should play more games with boss fights to prove that. I, for example, couldn't recall if I ever heard any boss fight with latin choir. Even orchestra is rare in my experience.

Agreed! Although I could pick out a few examples from the past the whole latin chanting thing is not actually common overall.

Also, just to tack another note onto your comment:

Serious as a tone can be reinforced in a variety of ways beyond just increasing the intensity of music. While it’s uncommon, some boss fights in games deliberately use a slower, less up-beat tone because it resonates thematically with what’s happening in the narrative. In the right circumstances, an unexpected choice like this can be much more powerful.
