no ending?
also why not use actual comments module instead of a thread?

watched my friend play thru this game and it's so awesome. the claw arm is actually really adorable!

Physics like these in games usually can end up going haywire, but aside from an odd occurrence where my tank was propelled forward unnaturally due to a chaotic load, the physics mechanic held up great! Great job on that. The ending was quite the treat, though it's a shame the game ran a bit laggy as the big reason why I like small indie games is that they are usually minimal in the computational requirements department. Regardless, 9.9/10 game!

I drove 50,000m away from the main explorable area and only then did I fall off the map. One of the most beautiful games I have ever played. Those 50,000m were beautiful, and even once the mountains ended, the ice ocean had a beautiful skybox and a wonder tank to gaze at as well. I truly felt at peace on the mission to the end of the map. I loved this game more than anything else I've played this year, and that's saying a lot. Keep up the wonderful work dev, you are a breath of fresh air in creative gamemaking.

You explored further out than I did! 😲

Thank you that means a lot!

Is there anyway to get the 3d model of the Tank ?
I wish to 3d print it, i love it so much ! I just finish the game yesterday and really fall in love with the vibe. Also, love how you made the environnement, i know it's mostly cubic assets but it's clear it's some post apocalyptic ruines.
And i love how the tank drive ! Very nice little game, i recommend.

You might be able to fabricate your own. A lot of the design reminds me of WW2 tanks, specifically the variants of the Sherman tank. Grabbing a Sherman tank model might be a good place to start if you're interested in recreating it.

My team and I were thinking about an original idea for our next game, and we came up with the idea to make a robot that would have difficulty moving around the world and would need to do something in it. How original we thought, after an hour of searching, I found this wonderful game) You implemented the idea coolly and it works, it was atmospheric to ride and collect

I would also like to 3D print the cute tonk!

By the way, this really gives me "Girl's last tour" vibes, especially if you zoom out and watch the tank go. It just feels so peaceful.

It was the main inspiration, along with Death Stranding!

Guessed as much when I entered the discord, one of my favourite mangas ever!

I wasn't sure quite why I was doing what I was doing but you designed the game so it didn't really overstay it's welcome. There's a bunch of polish, or at the least a complete lack of bugs. I had a lot of fun working with the systems.

It would be nice to have a slight 'ending', especially after that music swell. But it has all the makings of something neat. And even if you don't keep developing this, I think you're a very talented person who will be able to make something even more amazing. Please, keep it up!

Neat little idea, basically death stranding with a tank, it need some fine tuning especially with how often the game bugs out and just launches all the stuff out from your trunk because you glitched into the ground a little bit, other than that its pretty fun

Thank you for publishing this cozy delivery game to the world. I enjoyed lovely death-stranding experience so much  and looking forward next updates or even paid version with additional contents.

Made an account just to leave this comment. Adorable (and weirdly cozy) game about a tank trekking through a frozen wasteland, and yet with an ineffable, impactful ending. Amazing experience.

I love this game!

An AI could do mundane debris collecting, you know? No need for a human to do that.

Wonderful game, I loved navigating the tank across chalenging terrain. Iso-lines on terrain are really useful and give a nice vibe.
The arm is great! Congrats, it works very well for a thing with so many degrees of freedom.
One control issue I ran into often is that the zoom function is unavailable when operating the claw, maybe add some keyboard controls as backup.
While crate stacking, the depth is a bit unclear, which sometimes is a bit frustrating. Maybe a shadow or a shader effect where geometry overlaps would help.
Hope it gets more flushed out with more missions/progression.

I accidentally blew up the oil settlement at the end instead of the intended delivery site due to forgetting my cargo in my rush. I'd give this game a score of 1 super fast delivery tank out of 10

i tried to run it on linux and you know the rest, so i tried to add it to steam like you said but then it just didn't run?

what am i doing wrong?

edit: now it does run, but the bug is still there. any way to fix it?

At first, it was a fun game of material transportation, with more and more money to be made as we completed upgrades.
After about an hour and a half of this, I was very excited when I received the last mission, with its first music and clear objectives.
And the moment the timer hit zero, I was stunned by the collapse and the sheer shock of a place I thought I would one day reach.
I don't think I would have been able to immerse myself in this kind of emotion without the first material transportation part, so this game is the most amazing one that gave me a unique feeling.
Good game experience, meow~.

Thanks for playing/doing a lets play! Glad you enjoyed ♥

Fun game!

Anything left to do after making the "$0 delivery"? :)

Any thoughts on trying to put this up on steam?

I love this little game you made. I'm excited for whatever you do next with it :)

A wonderful experience! It's a very meditative stroll through a humanity's graveyard, where you're just collecting the last scraps of technology. Really liked the setting, which managed to be varied despite its "monotonous" nature (such as the designs for each of the stations. My favourite was the Oil station, looks like a mixture between a Brutalist hotel and an oil rig). The controls for the tank were intuitive, with many bells and whistles, so by the end I felt like its driver, despite the short length of the game. The main gameplay loop was definitely Death Stranding-like; monotonous, but solidly done. My favourite part was that each delivery had multiple parts, each named a different thing (like rations of different flavours). Great attention to details!

Of course, the ending is amazing. Even though you showed it in the trailer (spoiler alert!), it was really something. Delivering that package in a race against time, then rolling down the hill at full speed as the timer runs out was exhilirating. And the calm at the end where you just contemplate what happened and what comes next... Fantastic.

Also, not many small indie dev people do this, so thank you for the great trailer for this game! Found out about it on Youtube and this calm desolation really gripped me.

Once again, thank you for making this game, and all the best on your future endeavours!

It's so interesting that it seems other people got a sense of coziness from this game. I guess it could be a cozy cycle to get into, but from wandering around, gathering supplies and listening to the howling wind I felt a distinct sense of isolation and hopelessness. The subtext of "What brought humanity to this point?" and the other tanks around really made it feel like a hopeless world that you are trying to give hope back to. It's really a beautiful feeling to capture in a game.

Related, I really like the sense of melancholy created from just being a lone little tank shining its headlight in a fully dark world. The green lines from the topology scanner kind of dampen that immersion though, maybe try making that a ping as well? Could even make it a direct upgrade for the main scanner, and just have them both ping on F

Add me to the pile of people who would happily 3d print this tank friend! Having fun picking up stuff with my elephant trunk. Thanks for making this game!

this is pretty fun, only need some proper looking settlements area and improvement of the looks of the obstacle props etc and its top, the tank looks amazing, the snow and weather is too, really just the environment props that need a little work.

gameplay wise i have nothing to say, its very fun, and you will not see time pass. doing a night time delivery during a blizzard, is cool AF

Do not go quietly.

Great little game. found through your youtube video. It maybe wore thin about 45 min before i beat it, but i did have to restart about 30 min in, so that checks out.
