Just want to say, this is probably the best mod I've EVER played. FPS is a slight issue but its not horrible.

Amazing job on all the new enemies and stages and everything.

I'd love to see some kind of way to merge your weapons (maybe at the crown vault?) (Or maybe make it so that Last Wish also merges your current two weapons), since you can get merged drops.  Might be too OP,  but it sure would be fun.

Going off what cheesebaron2 said, maybe a weapon similar to blood hammer, but based around bones. Bone Hammer, Bone Screwdriver or something. On kill it should have a chance to drop a bone!

I'd like to see a mutation that allows the player to have more pets.

can you add a Delete Data option? that would be more efficient than reinstalling the mod

No need to totally reinstall the mod if you want to get a new NTTE save - you can go to your "%LOCALAPPDATA%/nuclearthrone/data/teassets.mod/" folder and delete the "save.sav" file. NTTE will auto-make a new one when it can't find it

Some unique mechanic with Skeleton in relation to bones (like how currently Skeleton can donate health in place of bones to open the Aquatic Route)

One possibility is that bones increase Skeleton's max hp based on how many he is carrying (up to 8 max hp, not including rhino skin). So 4 Bones would max it out, unless his hp is reduced by Crown of Death, in which case 5 (this is assuming that it would be 1 bone per max hp).

Another possibility is that bones could function like an overheal/shield for Skeleton, losing a bone instead of taking damage.

I was thinking about a new modded mutant, having in count that *damn great* rework to the pizza sewers, what about a playable RAT?

 Mechanically speaking, it's passive could be something like temporal immunity to the toxin clouds, like 1 second of immunity when making contact with one, that should allow the player to run with the iconic toxic weapons of the rat, when u touch a cloud u have 1 second or so to stop touching it without taking damage, if u keep contact longer than that then u get damaged.

Now the active ability, I was thinking about something between the parrot and rebel (kinda), lemme explain, u have that "cheese counter" like the parrot has the "feather counter", u can have up to 5 cheeses at the same time and they spawn when opening chests or something like that. well, then when at least one cheese is fully complete u can activate the ability, wich will instantly consume all your cheese and then will SUMMON a RAT to help u during that level, with a life-time like rebel's ... Companions? Well, my idea is that the rats that u summon could be: 

1) those little rats with gas masks and the weapon that shoots gas clouds.

2) a chubby, bigger and stronger rat with a weak version of the "Big Shots" rat with the gas jetpack's movements and attacks (like the dash and the attacks, but much much weaker)

3) some kind of rat like that tall one that spawns in the pizza sewers with a cape

Well, when u use your ability, u summon 1 of those, aleatory,  for every cheese u had, having the chubby rat and the tall one lower chance to spawn that the basic one, then they fight with u for a set amount of time during that level and then leave (or get killed obviously)

I mean, idk if u can mod all that shit, it was just my idea. Now artistically speaking, I would love if the rat looked like the "Big Shots" bosses, being the A Skin  based on the tall one (with bandages, a side cape, googles maybe..?) And the alternative skin based on the other one (with a backpack or whatever that is)

Aaand that's my suggestion, sorry if it was too long, but I really loved the mod and you know, I wanted to contribute to make it even better.

Hi, I'm a veteran NT player and his mod is good cream (I mean it's 10/10)

I have a grip a there is a weapon called trident I would like that like the legend if you have a brain laser to the enemy that touches and does not kill it paralyze it for 0.5 seconds that would give a lot of play.

2: They could put the idea of a character who is a fox and steals the weapon of the enemies but giving theirs to them or disappearing them. That would be your active. Passive moves a little faster than normal. negative has less drop of hp and rad. his b-skin would be a reference to the yokai: huli jing, a fox spirit

3: they could put an area of icy caves

4: and that they could increase the parrot's range but take away some speed.

Thanks if you read my recommendations. (From a Spanish-speaking boy who is suffering in the translator. And who dreams of one day being able to have a project like yours.)

New crowns:

-crown of gifts: replaces the normal ammo chests with 2 present ammo chests (synergy with open mind)

-crown of bounty:  gives 1 extra mutation but at the start of each level the idpd will appear


edit:

extra:- crown of cuteness: takes the slot for crowns and pets, enemmies will attack slower(reduces enemy fire rate)

Another big idea would be a new type of ammo and weapons: poison.

Capacity 55 (75 with back muscle)

Related mutation: toxic tears, enemmies killed with poison weapons ( including the ones that dont use poison ammo) explode into a big toxic cloud

Some weapons:

- bug spray: 1 ammo, shoots 3 small toxic clouds that lasts for 3 sec, similar to a shotgun 

- spitter: 1 ammo shoots a toxic bubble that deals 7 damage, when it hits something it leaves a small toxic cloud

- flautulent gun: 3 ammo shoots a big toxic cloud that leaves a trail of small toxic clouds

I feel like the crown of crime is a bit op, like you get more choice and power over what you get and the only downside to that is that when you do choose a couple of pretty weak enemies will spawn in, potentially granting you more resources. I think maybe raising the amount of enemies it spawns a bit could make it a bit more risky? Maybe also have a chance for it to summon idpd instead of bounty hunters. Maybe add some more stronger bounty hunters, heres my suggestions for those:
1. An engineer gator who can build a temporary turret and fly around with his jetpack like a raven.

2. A marksman gator (or maybe even raven) that could act as faster sniper, maybe even trying to predict your movement.

3. Assasin gator who could teleport around with a smoke bomb and become invisible.

Also maybe replace all bounty hunters with some "ultra gators" on loop 3 and onwards. Maybe after selecting enough chests there could be a bounty hunter boss, or you can like just straight up start spawning big bandits on your head, could be fun. Also a tiny pointer to where the bounty hunters are coming from could be nice.

Maybe also make the pizza sewers bosses a tad less painful, like slow them and their projectiles down a bit maybe.

Also like one person said its kindof annoying that to resurrect the shark pet you just have to walk over them, potentially dying due to low health.

Maybe add a secret location and to get to it you would have to bring an lightning weapon to the labs and zap a battery that would turn on the lights and allow you to go deeper into the labs.

Who knows maybe you guys are not working on this mod anymore but i just wanted to share my ideas.

With Horror's portal-spawn-earlier upgrade taking effect, the last enemy spawned and killed were on the wall, thus often the portal spawns inside the wall, potentially making the gameplay stuck, sometimes it spawns on the floor.

Might suggest making portals always spawn at somewhere reachable?

Mod was based on NTT 9940 at that time. Couldn't quite remember if it's before or after applying NT:TE 2.02.

I think you should add some more vanilla friendly characters, the parrot was so good as an addition. would love to see more! what about a nerdy crocodile?

There should be some way to seed or manipulate the special Oasis treasure chest for a more favorable outcome. It's unnecessarily tedious to do an entire run to loop, carry bones to L1 1-3 to get to Coast and Oasis so you can get the loop-exclusive golden weapons to spawn, only to get a shotgun + machinegun or something you could've gotten pre-loop within 8 minutes. It leads to a less fun experience where you do numerous runs only to find a garbage weapon like bazooka + crossbow which gives a painfully slow crossbow bolt with a longer cooldown, or splinter gun that shoots grenades which is nearly identical to a shotgun that shoots grenades. It lacks experimentation.

My suggestion is having some sort of sentient underwater-themed mimic chest that can eat a compatible golden weapon, which guarantees an Oasis chest on the next run to give a combination of the stored/consumed weapon + a random weapon. I think that would allow for a lot of experimentation, and more control which equates to less frustration over getting terrible rolls. But just any way to seed a chest would be beautiful.

I'm sure you guys already have plans for a Jungle area pet, but if I could suggest one I would love to see a psychedelic mushroom friend. I chose a psychedelic mushroom because it vaguely fits the idea I have for it's power, which would be to transform the last wish perk into a perk that rerolls itself every level.

I'm not sure what the prompt would be when you interact with the mushroom, it could be something vaguely related to the theme of last wish like having to "make a wish" to the mushroom or something that makes a bit more sense, I haven't given that a lot of thought. But I think a pet like this would stand out amongst the other pets without adding another pet that deals damage, while also being thematic to the jungle.

It could also have a little bit of strategy involved regarding perk choice. If you come across a perk you really wanna keep, you could potentially ditch the pet for a different one in the level and effectively reroll last wish which would give an alternative to rerolling last wish via the golden rose. You'd sacrifice short term perk gains and a pet slot for the potential to roll into a perk of your choice.

Overall I think it'd be a fun zany pet to add that could introduce an extra element of randomness across the run that isn't too similar to Orchid's temporary perks, considering they'll last an entire level.

A way to start with pets. Something along the lines of crowns. It kind of sucks that in order to have certain pets in a run, I have to loop or go to an area where I miss out on doing things in another area. I just want to do something silly like use twins at the very start and run around with gamma guts.
