can you fix the save system of this game? Why do everytime i save, and continue to play for 3 minutes, there's an autosave taken my save file? So every time I want to load my save file, I can't because an autosave replace it. What's the point of save then? that's the only thing i have a problem with.
You are playing on save A and then create a save B, the game will now autosave on save B, and you can load Save A to return to the part that you was, then you can overwrite the save B if you want to choose a different option in a scene, or create a save C.
The game will always autosave on the last file slot that you saved.
Without autosave, the game would be very complex in making a save system, each scene has with own collectible items, that need to be saved, the world map has too locals that you already visited to save.
This was the best that I could do with my knowledge.
There should always be a dedicated save slot that doesn't effect your manual saves. Every game on the planet including games developed by a single person on patreon have managed to accomplish this. The way this game is developed comes off as intentionally screwing over players. The game is incredibly unforgiving without allowing saves. Every minor screw up permanently ruins your game and your saves so you can't even load it.
The survivor relationships don't make much sense to me. The dialog sounds unnatural for people to refer to each other this way. What is the one the "landlady" of? Are the "tenants" paying rent? What purpose does this feature serve?
Did you have dialog that does sound more natural but you aren't using it for some reason?
Nothing I change it to will have any influence either. I don't expect setting one to "head chef" and another to "wait staff" is going to result in them opening a bistro.
I haven't worked on it yet, it's a complex thing to make the game compatible with ultra wide android resolutions.
I need to put a checker to see if the game is open on an android.
I need to set resolution options before entering the main menu, where you can choose the resolution, the game needs to save this resolution option.
And every time a scene opens, the game will change the resolution of the UI to the resolution chosen, and saved.
The Ui dial, which contains the management buttons, also needs to adapt to the chosen resolution, and some buttons may not stay in the correct position when the UI resolution changes.
or maybe there is an easy way to fix it.
just started playing this game on my android tablet (1280x800) and its impossible to play correctly as the blue star squad button is missing on my screen, I understand now that there are wide-screen resolution issues with the game and will take sometime to fix.
In the mean time why not try a quick fix for android users to be Ble to play the game, albeit still with the cropped screen.
Move the blue squad button from far left further inward, also move the day counter as it also cropped
Just a thought
I really think you should focus on one platform first, I'd recommend pc first and then the others should follow 'after' you improve the game so you have the gist of how everything works on your game with that particular platform. I say this not because I'm a pc user, I'm an android user and no, I don't have both. I'm sorry to say that your game is very buggy provided that it's still on development phase so you're practically still on test run.
The UI needs improvement, can be quite confusing for new players. I'm on android so I don't know about other platforms. The characters sometimes looks like a ghoul clay maybe because of porting the game into android? The highlights when interacting with things should assimilate its shape on that particular object you interacted to provide some aesthetic in the game and make it neat looking.
The conversation between characters is dry and rushed, maybe add a bit of complexity in their dialogues. I'll wait for your update on this because it is very important if you want your players to adore your characters.
Maybe add an event that will happen when you reach the threshhold needed for the characters to let you do things to them. Let's say Ai needs 10 affection or love points so you can take a bath with her, add a couple more scenes and dialogue to make it more believable that it's fine for you to take a bath with her. I think you can improve the girls' personality, maybe ask for help with this, building a character's personality is real hard. A woman's opinion would really help your character building.
I like the game, it makes you work and actually do something and makes you think for a bit on how you manage your shelter though it's only for a very short time. When Mary wakes up, it's very easy to manage the shelter. The only real thing you need to do is to know when to take a break or return to shelter to catch the girls on the place they like to hang out.
Lastly, this is more of a friendly reminder rather than feedback. Don't rush the game, you don't have to feel rushed because patrons or people want more content from your game it can ruin your game. Quality over quantity, take it at your own pace, implementing and making ideas takes time. Your game has potential, I just hope you can direct it in the right direction. I'll watch the game's development with hope and amiability.
Can you please make more systems available to support your base without resorting to cheating? Highest tier in everything, I don't have all the people, and while food isn't a problem, water sucks. At least let it hold/produce more water per day? as it stands, I can have food to spare at second to highest food setting, but water? I'm one up from no water, and its still tanking way too fast.
The game doesn't show the current level of each building so I'll have to go from what is next to be built.
Under Research I have this displayed. Replicator 7, Greenhouse 7, Carbon Garden 7
Under Build I have this displayed. Solar Panel 8, Replicator 5, Greenhouse 4, Carbon Garden 5
I have 14 women in my base.
2 Food and 20 Water generates a surplus of supplies. 4 Food and 40 Water slowly depletes supplies over several days.
Conclusion, don't max out everything. Especially keep your Greenhouse low as it uses a lot of water. Invest in the thing you're running out of fastest and try to strike a balance with your other buildings.
There's one more thing but I don't want to spoil anything you might not have seen yet. Without saying too much about it, I'm gaining more than I'm losing at this point in my save.
Okay, that makes sense, but again...I want to point out, I *do* have everything maxed out. If having everything maxed out makes you have a net loss, something is wrong there, don't you think? I have an idea what you want to point out, I have those events too, but I'm still burning through obscene amounts of water. Dirty water isn't cleaning nearly as fast and I can't seem to generate enough water for everyone. If its really my greenhouse consuming a huge portion of water, again...I want to impress there is a balance issue there. If this were a legit sim game or resource management game, I'd be like okay...but this is first and foremost a porn game. If you really want to focus on the resource management side of it, then maybe make that the main selling point or keep the difficulty as it is at the moment as a "challenge" option, but do fix up the rest.
Oh, I agree. Quite a bit needs to be refined. You can't see what *has* been built. You aren't shown what the resource drain of a building will be. In most cases you don't know the impact a building will have until you already built it and have to guess at how to balance out the havoc it's caused with your other resources.
Unfortunately the people putting up the money want to see more fan service and the parts that make it a game get ignored. Meanwhile there's a login for the library computer that has been hinted at since the beginning and never expanded on. There's a hatch I still haven't opened because Chamber 1 Box Key was never added. Apparently I built a military helicopter out of scrap parts, but I'm still traveling everywhere in a van.
The MC mentions how well armed Tony's group is. Would that still be true once the other areas of research have something added to them? I've been imagining what a fully upgraded character could do in that situation. Try collecting taxes from my army of T-800s while my HK Goliath shakes your tank like a maraca. That is, if that part of the game ever gets developed.
Yeah, I noticed that a bit too...Rather than quest updates/expansions, I think the current things in the game need to be touched up. Balances for resources, animations that should be changed for travel, some aspects that have been around for ages (such as box, keys, also all the other rooms. How am I having full upgrades but there is really nothing being done with the farm? I feel like that should fix quite a few issues and have been developed. Sports room is awfully bare all the time for all the athletes around)
have you considered...NOT opening that path then? you literally don't have to unlock everything. Just don't do it. The "progress" you're mentioning is for the futa quests, why would you be on those if you don't like that content? To put it to you clearly, if you go to a buffet and they have fish there, do you feel obligated to take it just because its available?
it's in my nature to complete all quests available LoL, also i thought there was no other way to increase robyn affection at this version of the game other than that. Also i couldn't redo everything due to the constant autosave and my last manual save was far far quests ago. If the autosave was only triggered during day end, things wouldn't be so difficult.
I wouldn't expect everyone to know what the content will be when they start on a path. I know I'm just looking to see what things do. I don't know what that will be prior to reaching it.
One option that stood out to me is when the main character chooses to watch Robyn and Jennifer together and complains about how awful it is. Like, why did you stay to watch if you weren't into it? I thought that was the reason you stayed. You weren't being forced to watch if you didn't want to.
