Fun and very few notes, but I’d say two things:

  • While it was fun to be sliding/flying around a lot of the time, moving around when you didn’t have any momentum could’ve been faster without diminishing how good the “optimal” movement felt.
  • On the other hand, it did often feel like I was fighting the momentum I had a fair amount of the time. That could honestly just be me not being able to hit controls fast enough, though.

I appreciate the feedback. I agree the basic movement is a bit slow/stiff. The control when not in snowball mode was indented to be fairly simple in its  approach, though to a fault it seems.  There's certainly some more tweaking that could be done to keep the overall pace consistent. Given that there is no ability to control while in snowball mode may be part of it as well.  I'll play around with some of the mechanics and keep focus on the fluidity between the two modes in the future. The slows do feel a bit too slow XD .Thank you so much for playing!

Very polished and fun game. Only complaint is that moving regularly felt a little slow and the tutorial screen was a little hard to understand. Great job!

Developer(+1)

I agree,  the tutorial screen is a bit overwhelming and not as clear as it could have been. Perhaps I'll try for some animations showing the moves in action with more clearly written instructions to go with them. And the normal movement could feel a bit more free flowing, it does have a fairly sluggish pace compared to the snowball. Thanks for the feedback, and thank you so much for playing! Much appreciated <3

Might be my favourite game of the ones I've played in this jam so far! Brilliant presentation paired with fun, fluid gameplay makes for a really great experience. Not that this game needs anything, but an extra section or two would be sweet!

Developer(+1)

Oh wow thank you so much :D I agree, making more levels to play is something I would have loved to incorporate if there was more time.  Not promising anything, but the game doesn't have to end here ;) Thanks for playing <3

Really cool game! Going fast felt really fluid and awesome, but regular movement felt a little too stiff. Nice game!

Developer

I went for contrast in control type but perhaps a little too much, I agree blob mode does feel a bit stiff.  Thanks for pointing that out, I'll take it into consideration moving forward. Thank you so much for playing and the feedback!

Great job! Got a little lost with using the controls to get through some parts, but the idea and fluidity of the mechanics is very well done!

Developer

Much appreciated! Was there anything noteworthy about the controls that you could say caused issues?

Really enjoyable platformer. Some bits there are like a fun roller coaster! Great job with level design teaching the gameplay mechanics.

Thank you so much for playing, I appreciate the feedback :)
