It's a wonderful game, I really liked the cute penguin! And excellent idea with the cards. Nice Job!

Developer

Thnx, im glad you liked it! ^^

Great game! Love the use of the theme and the penguin! The platforming could've used a bit more juice and the fullscreen didn't work on my 3/2 display. But I was still able to play the game without fullscreen, enjoyed the levels, platforming, and the satisfying finish!

Im sry the game didnt work properly on your screen, we gotta check it and fix It asap. We Ran out of time so we couldnt add more "complete levels" , anyway glad to read you still enjoyed the game, thnx for sending your feedback and playing the game^^

I liked it, very smart idea to combine a card game and a platformer. Had it been done before?

I like the idea a lot and the actual platforming feels really solid, it actually reminds me of a couple of other games in this jam that remove the ability to use basic actions, but that said it is still well done here and I think the levels utilize them in a solid way. I wish there were a few more levels though!

Developer

Thanks! ^^ We ran out of time at the end and couldn't include more levels, we are thinking about adding 2 or 3 more levels once the jam ends so it doesnt count as cheating

really nice platformer!

It's really cute. I love your original sprites, and the 'swiggity swooty' animation of the penguin. I think the cards as actions is a good take on the theme. In the next version I'd like to see controls with the arrow keys added as its a little difficult to coordinate all the actions with a single hand.

Really cool entry! Let me know if you expand on the game! <3

Thank you so much!! You are absolutely right, the arrow key controls should be already done but for some reason we didn't think about it.
QOL details like that one are allowed in the jam as far as i know, so im doing it rn, thanks for the feedback :D

Very cute puzzle platformer!

Difficulty felt just right and super satisfying to finish.

Would love to see the concept expanded upon with more card types.

What an interesting take on platformers! It's like an real time action and a move based puzzle game in one! A card game platformer! So interesting. adorable aesthetic and music. The last level was challenging but I managed to finish it with a jump to spare! The tight restart of the level was an incredible QOL addition. This was a really really fun experience!

Cute penguin "card" platformer. Kinda like Neon White in 2D? :D One thing I would like to mention is that my game was "cropped" I think, and I didn't see the start/end. And also the levels never ended when I reached the flag, so I pushed all possible buttons and got to other levels, but I have no idea how I was supposed to do that.

Developer

Thank you very much!! Neon white was in fact the biggest inspiration we had during the development.
Abou the game being cropped, yeah, we are working on a fix, its a resolution bug i think.
In theory, you just have to touch the flag to end the level, but theres a 3s delay in switching scene, to let the win music play, but yeah we should make it more noticeable maybe.
Thank you so much for your feedback!!
