can't rate it but I think this is 5 star

Out of all of the games i've played, this is definitely one of them

Loved the way the story unraveled and the different endings/choices the player has!  The concept was extremely unique, gameplay was fun (and kept me on my toes!), and the art was great!

Awesome game! Really unique take on the theme, and overall a really original and fresh submission. Poor Steven just wanted to be friends ;-;

Great game! A bit confused on the how it entirely relates to the theme, but it was pretty fun to go sicko mode on some trees and eat shrooms, I also enjoyed burning the satellite dishes, enjoyed the funny green fire

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed playing! Yeah I have a patch for the soft-lock and adding a reset button, but I can't submit it until after the jam ;-;. Yeah tenseven knocked it out of the park with the art! Loved how it all turned out

Thank you! I'm definitely going to try to make this at least a bit fleshed out with more levels, mechanics, fixes, etc after the jam!

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game! I have a patch for both the soft lock and adding a reset button (R) but I can't submit it until after the jam ;-;

Thanks! Had to rush the sounds with bfxr in the last day, glad to hear they turned out well!

Thanks to much for playing! Loved your grandma vaccum game, really unique and fun! I agree with your criticism. We had to make all of the levels in the same day, meaning we didn't have time to tweak the difficulty, precision, etc. The anvil slowing down time can help in some situations, but I agree it can get in the way when time changes too suddenly, this is most likely a matter of tweaking levels to accommodate and making the time shift less agressive.

Thanks for playing! I have a patch for the reset button and removing the soft-lock but I can't submit it until after the jam

Thanks so much for the kind words! I checked out your submission, but I wasn't able to play the game through. What I played was pretty solid, the controls felt tight, and once you knew the abilities it was pretty fun to just jump around the level

Great little platformer! Movement felt really solid, I couldn't get through the first section, wasn't exactly clear where to go, but what I played was pretty fun!

Glad you liked it! Yeah, since it was 5 levels, it was hard to balance what was "easy" and what was "hard" or give a real sense of progression. We had a bunch more ideas for mechanics but in the end we didn't have much time to implement them, would like to revisit this game once the jam is over though

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the game so much! Yeah, we crunched on the levels, ideally we would have playtested them and made more but we didn't have the time for that unfortunately

Thanks for playing! I like the ideas! Unfortunately it'll be a bit until we can add more things/patches but after the jam it would be totally fun to revisit this!

Thank You! Appreciate the kind words!

Thanks! Great that you enjoyed the levels that were there, we had to crunch it all in the same day but happy it worked out in the end!

Thanks for playing! Tenseven did a great job with the art!

Great platformer! Music was great, sounds were awesome (loved the little granny scream) and the art was really cool, I especially loved the atmosphere opening level with the mansion. Controls felt really unique, yet still familiar, and it was really fun to play as Granny!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked and got a hang of the mechanics and controls!

Very fun! Really like the frogs and the artstyle. Although it took me a bit to get used to the controls/gameplay loop, I really enjoyed the modes you added, made the game a lot more dynamic!

Thanks! Tenseven did an amazing job with the art! I 100% agree with your criticism, the controls are a bit wonky and take some getting used to, wish we had time to make more levels to ease the players in.

Glad you liked what you played! Sorry you didn't get that far! Wish we had more time to make more levels to ease players into the controls (only had enough time to make 5 levels for the jam)

Loved the game! Artstyle was on point! Doggos were great! Got a highscore of 225

Thanks for the feedback! Loved your puzzle game!

Yeah I agree, there should definitely at least be checkpoints, I'm currently putting together a patch with controller support, so (maybe) I could upload a seperate build or make a seperate page with checkpoints. I dunno if it would change the game too much or count as QoL (might need to ask) but I 100% agree that the game should've been a bit more forgiving, and a bit easier on the difficulty curve. I also had some ideas to improve the leniency of the dash that I didn't have time to implement (thanks for the screencap, the dash *is* still annoying to deal with even with the current buffer, I felt your pain)

Was happy to see it worked for people who already play a lot of platformers but I can understand it's hard for those just getting into it.

Very nice game! Amazing that you made it in 7 days with the content, depth, story, and polish it had!

Great game! Love the use of the theme and the penguin! The platforming could've used a bit more juice and the fullscreen didn't work on my 3/2 display. But I was still able to play the game without fullscreen, enjoyed the levels, platforming, and the satisfying finish!

Great game, love the use of the theme!

Thanks for playing and the comment!  Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks! I had a lot of help from soddentoast with the levels, glad the difficulty curve worked out in the end

Thanks for the kind words! Never thought about controller support until your comment. I'll try to add it in an update soon

Thanks for playing and the comment! Glad you enjoyed the game!

Fun! I like the direction you went with the theme! Sounds would be nice but overall very nice game!

Fun game! Love the colors, music, art, platforming, and premise!  There could definitely be more content/levels but I enjoyed what was there and I understand the time constraints with a jam like this, great work!

Fun puzzle game! The premise was pretty entertaining to read! The process of elimination for solving the password was a bit counterintuitive but it was fun nonetheless and the music went pretty hard

ok so here are the things I fixed in the latest patch: Monkey Bar detection, Door checkpoints being wonky,  Fixed a couple sound bugs, and fixed the infinite wall jump bug. Please tell me if you have more!

The system

wtf? This game is utter garbage. I might use the player controller for a game jam or somethin tho
