The art and sound were great but I would have preferred if the character was a bit faster. Still, very atmospheric and cool.

Thank you for the feedback. You can run in the game by pressing the "shift" key, it increases the players speed by a drastic amount.

I liked the art. The art was definitely one-bit.  The audio was nice except for the beginning (The beginning  was very high to me). I felt like a sloth doing the player movement (The player movement was way too slow). The enemies were not really getting destroyed no matter how many times I hit the enemy.  The weapons need a bigger range. My tools range was like 0. Overall need some work, but will turn into a great game with a bit more work. I do understand the time limit.

Thanks for your support. You could run by pressing the "SHIFT" key. For some reason it's everybody say it's impossible to hit the enemies or it's just hard. The weapons range is the same size as the scythe at the last frame.  The mage had a smaller hitbox tha the knight, and were you able to damage the dragon or not?

DeveloperSubmitted

Also you could adjust the volume in the options menu. But still, thank you for your feedback.

I also can't hit anything. Idk if it's a problem with hitboxes or anything, but even if I stand right next to an enemy and swing my scythe, I deal no damage.

It happened to me once that one enemy also wasn't able hit me, so we were like standing right next to each other, swinging weapons and missing every hit, that was hilarious

The art and sound are great tho

Hey, thank for your feedback. Were you not able to hit the mage or the knight? And were you able to hit the dragon?

For whatever reason, I couldn't damage anything, at all, whatsoever. The screen also seems to slowly rotate for some reason, so it was nearly diagonal on my longest playthrough by the time I died. Could be an issue with the OSX export, since I'm playing on a macbook.

The aesthetics are charming, and the art and music make me feel like I'm playing a game that could have come out when I was very small. It's lovely and I hope you do more with it.

Thank you for your feedback. A lot of people say that they either can't hit anything or it's hard to hit them, so it's nearly impossible to kill the enemies without taking damage. I didn't test the game on a mac, but I'm glad at least that the export worked. The screen shake sometimes decides to stop mid-way, resulting in the camera being at  a slight angle. I still don't know why most people can't damage the enemies. I'm glad you enjoyed the music and the aesthetics of the game.

Were you able to damage the dragon?

I didn't even get to the dragon, but I'll boot up and try again after I'm done testing and reviewing the other submissions. :>

The art for this game is great and so is the music and sound effects. I had a few problems though. It was very hard for me to kill enemies without taking a bit of damage myself and the attack wasn't working very well either. Overall, a very good game though

DeveloperSubmitted(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. The problem with the attack, is that it outputs damage only for one frame, so you have to time the attack correctly. I'll try to find a better way to make the attack and implement it after the end of the game jam.

Ah I see

Keep working on this after the jam. It has the makings of a great little game.

Really epic music, and really damn nice character design. The only problem I had was that the character was a bit shaky when running and I couldn't hit the enemies without getting hit myself. But overall a really nice and gorgeous game, looking at the time we had for this :)

Oof the death animation is really cool. I had trouble hitting the enemies without getting hit. I guess i need some time. :) This is a beautiful game. Congrats on the submission!

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I agree that it's hard to kill the enemies without taking damage or dying, but it's possible. Your game is awesome btw.
