This was a lot of fun, looked great, and had a catchy tune. Well done!

Thank you! :D

This is a game that probably could have utilized coyote time and jump buffering a little more when jumping near a ledge other wise enjoyed the big chubby dragon and the feel of his movement.

Developer

Those are great ideas! We'll definitely add that to the roadmap. :3

Loving the eating animation at the end

So cute isn't it?

Submitted(+1)

Yes, surprisingly cute for such a big, scary dragon

I really like the graphics! The music was awesome! The music made me feel so happy (Thank you for that). The game was one-bit. I liked how fast my dragon could move even though he was very fat (I mean big. No offence dragon).  I liked how I have to get momentum to jump higher (Really fun Idea). The game goes very well with the theme. I also  loved the  walking pizza (The pizzas were cute). Though I do not know why pizza`s can kill you? The main problem for me  is the game is not all that creative. Overall very strong entry, awesome job, and keep it up!

I'm glad you liked so many things about the game and our big dragon (no offense taken, he's not at all self conscious haha). We focused on delivering a working platformer with nice graphics, and some of the mechanics we wanted to include didn't make it to the game in time. I expect we can work on them on future builds though. Thank you~

Ya, I understand. It seems like peoples games are either very nice art, but not that creative or vise versa.

Submitted(+1)

The music and art is very good however the controls were sluggish and felt like the player was skating on ice. If that is improved I think it could be a very good game

Developer(+2)

I agree and I think with just a bit of fine tuning it can be made much better in the future. Thank you!

I love this hungy dragon!!

The sprite animation is excellent, the mechanics are fun; wish I could judge and possibly enjoy the sound, but alas none played for me.

Some of the platforming elements are finicky, but it works. Feels very authentically retro in that respect. Very charming submission!

Developer(+1)

Hahaha we love him too! I plan to keep working on more mechanics in the future, but I'm glad you liked what we have already.

On every device I tested I got music playing. Did you get the sound fx at least? We do need to work on the controls and definetly some of the stage building was rushed.

Thank you so much for your review!

Nope, no sound at all; this has happened with a couple of games now.

Probably a compatibility issue with Safari, if I had to guess.

Developer(+2)

Apparently the web player not playing sounds on safari is a thing... weird.

Just had a friend send me video of their playthrough; the music and sound effects are charming, perfectly balanced volume-wise, and it really just adds the feeling that this is a true retro game. Very 90's track, props to the artist.

Controls are irresponsive, but I really like the art style and music

Developer(+1)

Thank you! What do you mean they are irresponsive?
