Did you guys make the animations yourself? They're really good. My only complaints are the dodging controls and attack charge cancel when dodging. I'd prefer a dedicated dodge button. Super fun time playing this regardless though, great job.

Thanks man! The animations are a mix of mine and some from Mixamo. Helped speed it along heh. Agreed on punch canceling when dodging.

A very good game. The layout is amazing, the UI design is very nice, the background music is perfect and the options menu is very nice. I really have nothing to comment on this game. Well done guys !!! I like the way the controls are displayed on the pause menu, it really helped me during the game. :)

Pretty dope overall, nice work! Huge variety of enemies, lots of content for a jam game!

Took me a bit longer than I'd like to admit to figure out I needed to lock onto an enemy to punch them at the start haha, maybe a basic "Press F to Lock On" prompt for the first fight would really help here. I didn't really understand the powered up fist mechanic too well either (how to unleash it?) but now I'm looking it seems you just needed to do a full charged attack, maybe just needed some more feedback.

I was interested in using mouse movement to dodge but the execution was a bit lacking, I didn't really know if I was doing a dodge or not. But it was a good attempt at something a bit different and novel. :)

I hope you polish this up a bit more in a post jam build! Will keep an eye on it. :)

Definitely a really well made game.

I’m really impressed with the enemy variety done in such a short period of time.

My first impression is that this would be so sick in VR. I like how using both fists was incentivized through charging stronger attacks. My main critique would be fists coming on and off screen when locking on/off as it was a bit confusing at first. This was a really cool entry!

Loved the look and feel! Obviously loved the ehm... naming convention for the baddies.

What I'd prefer is a keyboard based dodge. And maybe a difficulty level selector. As is, the game kicks my ass :)

Feels great, looks great, just as long as it needs to be. I particularly enjoyed the contrast between the adorable, pastel-colored aesthetic and the obscene enemy names. You can add a random name generator in there to have really capitalize on that.

I did find the controls a bit odd at first. Having to lock unto an enemy to fight makes for smooth 1v1 combat but an awkward extra step when fighting two or more enemies. Also, though I love the idea of mouse movements to dodge in theory, I found it a bit inconsistent and opted to just disengage from lock-on and move manually.

Overall though, it’s an immense amount of polish considering the short timeframe. While I suck at it I can still appreciate the effort. It’s a bit of a button masher, but that’s the whole fun of it.
