It's a pretty nice platformer game but weird physics make this game a bit glitchier than it should be. The problem there is that character sticks to the surface, rather than land on it (when character jumps forward, surface, like a magnet, tries to pull on him and that results in a weird glitches like getting stuck in air, depsite not even touching the celling in more tight spaces). Even despite those weird physics, game was really enjoyable and respects for making gathering skills like in Metroid, nice reference.

of course, the evidence of my completion needs to be here.

Thanks for the feedback, I know about most of these glitches but didn't get time to fully polish the game (example: I was finishing the menus hours before the deadline like an idiot) and I would of fixed them, but the fact that you finished the game and still managed to have fun surprises me, still thanks for playing!

Nice sprite animation and  tileset, I do agree you could squish the maps to cut down on running time   if there isn't a lot of background art to admire. The music was a nice companion though :)
Keep up the good work!

thanks for the feedback and sorry for taking so long to reply, I completely agree on this as the background was hastly made and I thought the map had to many blank sections, I take all feedback into consideration for my main project and what you said about the map will really help with that game when I get to making certain parts, anyways thanks for playing!

Simple, straight forward game, but this game have a really bad collision not gonna lie, I cannot take some of the diamond because of the spike collision, and sometimes I stuck into a wall. The player and the statue sprite is cool, but the tiles art doesn't really match for me, the level is too big and it looks empty, nice music, btw.I'm sorry if It sound harsh but it was for the better, I want you to improve:D. I can see your passion when making this game, the fact that you've finish making this game up is enough to be prove. Don't give up okay, you'll get better, trust me:D

Thanks for the constructive criticism! the funny thing is most of things you mentioned bugged me as well and I didn't like them. but I will take this and use it for my actual main project.

Really cool! I loved the menu, music, art, & the way more mechanics are introduced as you continue playing. The menu had a great polish and the art is friendly and adorable. The music has those good vibes and I enjoyed listening to it. The little monster that gives you abilities was really cool the first time I discovered it because I wasn't expecting it. It was just the kind of thing to keep the player interested in exploring. The movement was all good until I got to areas with roofs, then the physics became wacky. The staircases with ceilings right above them caused issues for me because I would get stuck and I'd have to use an ability or start pressing a bunch of keys to get out. This also made things a bit difficult when I am in a rush to get to a platform really far away but I keep getting stuck. A suggestion would be to make the bar for stopping time last longer, or adjusting the physics! Also, the "sticky situation" gem (I think that's what it was called?), I got to it by using my 'Q' ability to glitch into the ground until I got to the gem. I'm not sure if that's how you're supposed to get it but I had a difficult time figuring out another way to get past the spikes. Overall, I enjoyed my time playing and you added quite a bit of content, even different characters and difficulties (I played on normal & I found all of the gems). It also looks like you made this game without a game engine, impressive!

Thanks for your comment thederpderp I'm happy you enjoyed such a scrabbled together game I understand that some bits were untested and made it hard but thank you for still playing. I did use a game engine though.

Oh, my bad!
