What do you like about your game?
I finnaly got over my fear of multiple cameras and i learned a lot about procedural generation but most of it didnt make it into the final game. and i finally got to try out this new artsytyle but i didnt have much time for it but i wrote areally cool shader that pixelates lighting wich also isnt in the game since i only had 1 day to make all the models

insanely pretty visuals and barely any sweat on a potato pc, thats quite the achievement! tho gameplay wise keyboard controls look quite unplayable, you can barely turn without doing a 180. its ok cuz that make me see more of that beautifull smoke lol

nice retro aesthetic! I especially like the pixelated smoke vfx. the driving was a bit too sensitive and unruly at first, but after getting used to it I found it pretty neat. at times, I would even say the driving is great, but it’s so fickle and those times don’t last for very long. my main complaint is how the car freaks out when touching the curb — the driving only works well when the ground is completely flat, and the camera is super wonky when the car is not stable.

there are some moments where this game really shines: pulling off a long drift feels great, being saved by the bird after crashing is awesome, the portal effect is really cool and the upgrades add some nice spice… there’s definitely potential here, it’s just really rough at the moment. also, nice touch with “press esc” under the car lol.

this game made me realize i suck at driving. But seriously that was really fun good job!

All the effects and shaders and particles are really well put together, would make for a nice drifting experience. There is definitely an amogus cactus and you can't convince me otherwise.

Admittedly I didn't make it very far mechanics-wise as had issues with keyboard as well as it is unbelievably sensitive. But I imagine It'd be a very fun little roguelike driving challenge.

Congrats on the release

wow, i am in love with the aesthetics here! the pixelated 3D look just rules and theres just a lot of fun stuff going on visually here like the pixelated skybox, pixelated dust clouds, and the pixelated texture cars! but out of everything, that really cool dimension shader is such a visual treat, the way the camera pulls back a little on approach (with i assume a slightly higher FOV) to then ease the camera settings back to normal after entering the portal looks so good! the accompanying audio also does wonders to the game, every drift feels so satisfying due to the sfx alone, good stuff!

also the concept of having an roguelike racing game sounds really fun to explore the design of! you can go in so many directions with the upgrade system, from the straightforward stat system you have going on to maybe even some wackier gimmicks that completely change the gameplay (car shrinks to half their size, wheels are bouncy, car is invisible, etc.)! i don't play a lot of racing games, but the controls felt really sensitive for me at least, i think it would feel nicer if toned down a bit! also ran into some unfortunate bugs where the track would generate a loop into itself, making it impossible to progress, but regardless had my fun just driving around!

this was a really fun game, had a lot of fun trying to get used to the drifting! the idea is really easy to understand and pick up, i could see this being built for and played anywhere (pc, console, mobile, you name it)! great work!

Wow this is an idea good enough to steal I really like it, should consider pitching it to a publisher lol

the world could really use a nice new arcade racing game

Yo, racing games are the best. The mechanical "toyishness" of driving a car always makes the game fun to interact with. The main issues I had when playing were the overly stiff camera on bumps (i.e. the camera would feel a bit better if it were more damped), the oversteering in the car controller (even when I switched from keyboard to controller I had a hard time driving in a straight line), and the high center of gravity for the car when going over bumps (I kept flipping and the car feels too light when the center of gravity is high). The VFX looked great, the sounds were full, and when I did get the car going in a straight line it gave me a feeling of speed so there's a lot of presentation stuff that's already very good. Some small tweaks to the controls could really take this to the next level, nice job :)

incredibly charming driving game! now let me explain that i'm not very good at driving in real life, and i'm not much better in game lol, so i wasn't too surprised when i crashed multiple times on the way to just the first portal-thingy, but when i realized there were roguelike elements it really hooked me. i really think a multiplayer version of this with more frequent uses of that roguelike mechanics would really be awesome. i especially love the camera, i really felt like i was crashing in real time! nice job

Developer

Thank you so much, ive already got a version with the controlls fixed and more frequent use of the rogulike part, ill uplaod it after the rating period is over

The game was presented really well. I did play on mouse and keyboard, but I feel that the physics were a little messed up and highly sensitive. For example, when I spawn in, the car bounces up and down many times and were hyper sensitive to WASD. I liked how the bird flies out of the car on crash. I can see the effort put in here aside from those things, great submission!

thank you, Ill upload a fix for the sensitivity after the rating periode is over

Very cool effects, the best passage through the portal!

very nice game, was fun to drive, definitely replaces driving in GTA. You can also see that the Creator spend much time on the game especially in factors like the car. I hope the Creator makes more such games and in this short time, good job!

Very beautiful graphics, and the change of levels is just a masterpiece. A lot of funny details, such as the inscription on the bottom of the car when you roll over. I understand that the time was not enough, but if you complete it, it will be a very good game!
