This game is very sweet.

Best sound design I've seen so far. The music fits SO WELL with the mood, and the tracks are all super good just as individual pieces. Also, the music themes in the dialogue are great, but I think it would've felt cleaner if you used more crossfading when transitioning between songs.

The story is simple, but still heartfelt from the little we get to see, however, the text typing animation felt a little slow to me, paired with the relatively big text blocks.

Each piece of the art by itself looks great, however, the blending of the cute hand-drawn characters and the pixel art felt off, also there were a handful of layering issues(ie: I was walking along the top of the map and the player's head is getting rendered behind a tree that should be behind me.)

It was a cool game overall, I'm excited to see chapter II! :)

Crafty story telling, I wanted to see what happens next, too bad it is over so soon.

Oh my goshh I love that there's musical notes when they talk! It seems to match up pretty well with the syllables in their words as well! Sometimes the text is too long and it runs off the box, and you can stand on top of the well if you go behind it. You can also go behind windows and through benches. Buuut these are small things. I also managed to run off the map somehow while in search for the forest.

I love the art, and the sprites are very impressive! The girl and Frosty are so cute. The game is creative, and the story is very nice too.

I'm wondering if you recorded the bgm yourself?

OMG I JUST NOTICED THE THING THAT SAYS BROWSER VERSION LOOKS WEIRD ON MAC... I HATE THIS I NEED TO SWITCH TO WINDOWS ASAP LMFAOOO

Thank you so much for the feedback! The background music was recorded by William_King; you can find their music catalog here: https://pixabay.com/users/william_king-33448498/

If you play on Mac the dialogue kind of breaks during cutscenes. I am not sure if it is an HTML problem with Macs. I have a Mac too, and other games that I've played seem to be playable...
