It is pretty interesting, I enjoyed looking for the best ways to kill all the snakes and the boss after that, the art style gave me good gives of an original game, having more variety of visual assets in the game could be cool and add a lot to the vibes (maybe more environment things or variety of enemies).
I definitely expected to be able to attack up and down (or maybe throw to wherever the cursor is) but being the way it is, felt more unique and made me think differently than I expected. It is a nice result :)

- Gameplay felt slow and unpolished, art style felt lacking, but I liked that you formed a narrative focused framework for it
What do you like about your game?
The theme made this jam super exciting to me. I'm happy I've done something playable.

Hi, you should be proud of your work, the game feeling was good, maybe next time you can try adding some up/down throw as well, it would help the overall gameplay a lot!
The background music is really good, and the story panels were very polished.
Overall really enjoyable, good luck with it, keep it up! <3333
Was intrigued by the story, definitely wish there was more variety to the gameplay or more of an evolution to the mechanics. The boss was a neat fight, wasn't expecting him to have HP regen so I tended to stand next to him and tank damage in order to deal damage to him faster -- kill him before he kills me strategy. Hope you keep going with this though -- if you do, lmk and I'll certainly try out the completed version!
Thank you so much! Hopefully this week I start to bugfix and polish gameplay based on the feedbacks. I plan so many things in the next few weeks (more stages, more defined story, new enemies, partial asset revamp), so I need to figure out the priority.
When it's finished I release the new version and I would love to have people to playtest it! I don't say it will be the complete story, but much more detailed.
Thanks for your support! I really appreciate it :)
Love the story and art during the cutscenes. Big fan of the boss's attack sequences. Overall an enjoyable game!
Just some small feedback on the gameplay. Wish the tree hitboxes were a little smaller. I got myself stuck around the tree corners a few times running around. Also, the bullets could be a bit more visible. Especially in the boss stage with the purple background, it's really hard to see where the bullets are going.
Hi. Nice snakes you have here. Maybe just a bit too many of them for me. My average lifespan was around 5 seconds before I was eaten. Not sure, maybe I misunderstood something. On the bright side, the game is definitely intriguing and captivating, I restarted it about 20 times before giving up.
The boss fight in this game was very strong! Very challenging and dynamic.
I think some of the art looked really good, while other parts looked less polished, which felt a little odd.
The music could've been more intense to fit the feel of the game.
Overall, pretty strong. Keep it up!
Thank you. That means a lot! The art is mixed because I did it years ago and I needed some time to refresh things up. And I try to manage time correctly to pack things together and didn't have enough time to fix the worse assets.
That's a bit sad, I left the sounds to the end (to see what I really need) that's why it's sooooo simple :)
But these feedbacks worth to implement, so I plan with them after the jam.
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it!
I really liked the scenes with the old guy talking about the lore. Combat was fluid. I died a few times and managed to progress later, which is good. Boss fight was amazing. Well timed, just the right ammount of frustration, with epic GFX. Music was high quality, well placed all around. Bit short, need more.
I like the idea! It certainly could be improved, like making the art pixel-perfect, as in, making all the pixels the same size, and making the dialogue move faster, even if you did put the option to skip the animation and show all of the dialogue. But the story is interesting!
Thank you for playing it. I agree with you about every part. The pixel art needs more than just improvements. The dialog are customizable, just didn't have time for options menu. The dialog animation skip is already in there, you need to click. But it could be bindid with the next button also. I know it's not user friendly. And I have a longer version of the story, but I didn't have time to properly place it in.
I defeated the god of thunder and lightning!!
Good stuff, one piece of feedback that would make it a bit nicer to play would be basing the left/right direction of where you shoot on the the side of the character the mouse was clicked.
short and sweet! I think it shows a lot of promise, keep learning & joining jams!
cool stuff, very hard though, couldn't beat the boss on the second level, he kept teleporting away before i could get to him and if i hit him he would just regenerate.
Cool boss fight! One minor improvement that I think could be made is not making the player default to facing "right" after they finish attacking. Also it was a bit hard to see my projectiles against the background of the boss fight (the colors were similar)
