Got a high score of 600 here. I loved the sprites and look of the game. I also ran into the same challenge Simco mentioned with hitting the fire when aiming, so it seems likely worth tweaking or looking into for future revisions.

Is this a Remix/Remake?

I had a lot of fun with this. I got 680 points. I really like how the light levels of the area change depending on the strength of the fire. Only issue I had with it was that I sometimes hit the fire when I was aiming for a bat behind it but I'm not sure how you would resolve that, maybe making the fire lower or adding a jump?
Who would have thought bats could be the single-most devastating foe in all of known gaming history? Well, we have just been proven wrong. The bats are out to get your fire, so it's time to roast them in return. I see a project here that is nicely detailed, nicely animated, good controls and fairly straightforward.
Settled for a high score of 870.
Notes:
- Aren't these bats a little suicidal with their agenda?
- Information on game controls would be appreciated! I did not realize you had to click the mouse to shoot fireballs for some time.
- Good to see a pause button exists!
- Apparently you can land on bats as they try to approach the flame. Interesting.
Super cool! I got 810! I love that the lighting actually dims as the fire goes out
Awesome that was really fun! Love the lightning effects for the cave and fireballs. The multiple objectives/resources to manage (health, mana, and fire) made it quite a fun balancing act! Only wish there were some way to get mana back faster because I end up using all of it eventually.
I had a pretty good first run but wanted to see if I could break 1000. Great work!
