I like how little bits of dialogues float up from character's heads.
There was a bit where it seemed the tileset started floating away, I'm not sure if this was intentional or not.
It was a really cool, multichoice mini adventure though, I liked it
Yeah, I noticed the floating tiles (stone wall surrounding big heart and the trees that force player to go right instead of down), I noticed that after submission, while playing in the browser, lol. Those two are on their own tile layer so not sure what unhinges them OO. I noticed it happens if I bypass the book message, I think. The book message is what causes them to disappear.
Certainly is a cute and cuddly type of game, though I question if obtaining the jewel the less than legit way is the right way...? Anyhow, as games go, it's not bad! Keep it up!
Notes:
Thanks for the feedback; any idea what may have triggered the tiles being unmoored? I can't think of what it is but they are on their own gameobject as they both disappear once the book dialog is complete.
No idea, in all honestly. It seemed to be random, but it happened in each of the three times I attempted to play this game.
Being able to explore and see the different biomes was really neat ,and I found a lot of enjoyment with the conversations each NPC presented :)
💖
It was cool being able to explore a variety of different environments. The characters felt lively and I like the way their text pops up over their head. I enjoyed playing your game, thank you! Nice work
Also liked how the character's hair matches the flame colors!
Thanks for posting the playthrough! Really nice
This is incredible! I may or may not have gotten a tad lost, but that didn't take away from how cool it is to explore
I like the feeling of going on a big quest :)
I accidentally took the gem and I couldn't figure out how to or if I could return it. Oops!
LOL!, if you go back to the gem's original location , a dialog will ask if you want to return it :)
If you watch Ecaroh.games' playthrough in the comments, the player didn't get the popup to return the gem because he hadn't left the gem trigger and reentered. The gem trigger is about 3 times larger than the gem and the dialog (take gem or return gem) is called on OnTriggerEnter only (not OnTrigger or OnTriggerExit).
Nice RPG. The first two NPCs are funny with their reaction to approaching the gem :D I never figured out what to do with the red gem though. The naga lady didn’t seem to notice I had it.
