Thanks for posting the playthrough! Really nice

(1 edit)

LOL!, if you go back to the gem's original location , a dialog will ask if you want to return it :)

If you watch Ecaroh.games' playthrough in the comments, the player didn't get the popup to return the gem because he hadn't left the gem trigger and reentered. The gem trigger is about 3 times larger than the gem and the dialog (take gem or return gem) is called on OnTriggerEnter only (not OnTrigger or OnTriggerExit).

Thanks for the feedback; any idea what may have triggered the tiles being unmoored? I can't think of what it is but they are on their own gameobject as they both disappear once the book dialog is complete.

Yeah, I noticed the floating tiles (stone wall surrounding big heart and the trees that force player to go right instead of down), I noticed that after submission, while playing in the browser, lol. Those two are on their own tile layer so not sure what unhinges them OO. I noticed it happens if I bypass the book message, I think. The book message is what causes them to disappear.

The one that places 3 or 4 fire on the left and right of the player. Nothing gets past it!

Fun. I found a secret passage OO

Fun game and interesting inviting art.

Fun! I always like a good alliteration too.

Somehow reminds me of Doom. Fun.

Very nice.

Fun raining on the bad guy's parade! I like how moving concentrates the player's surface area so targeted water flow can be achieved. Nice.

I too liked the level changes and it was fun climbing/parkour so I could shoot the higher protected fires.

Fun!

I like the flying on the bat's back.

The fire is OP, nice.

Good balance for the levels. Fun. The jumping felt good and predictable even though the jump was so high.

Love the ending!

Fun!

I scored 4500! Hard to put out fires b/c distracted by the interesting background.

Nice; reminds me of the Donkey Kong 2D game.

I really like the style of this game, and burning up the bridge support! Story feels good.

Oh, btw, I just streamed your game on twitch.

I don't care about the views; just getting the gospel of Jesus Christ out there.

I do some indie dev in my free time (all Jesus content); we should talk and consider collaborating? I work in the Unity engine (C#) and have one game in beta. Let me know if you want to chat.

God bless you :)

Fun!

cool game! Do you use a particular game engine?

This is fun! Smooth and glitch free!
