This is my submission for the Alternative Soundtrack - Music Jam #3. I am very excited about the theme this month: Super Mario Bros (1985, NES) Underground. I really love the opportunity to create 8-bit music for this Jam. I hope you like it!

Fits the theme, good job!
Thanks so much!
Nice fun chiptune track. Cool bassline.
Thanks for the compliment :)
Nice chiptune, love the addition of the bend in the second half. Cool bassline. Nice work!
thanks!
Total banger. Sweet bassline with lead counterpoint. That bridge at 1:01 is great, as is the reprisal with the percussion and the brassy lead. Bobbing head all along. Felt like playing the game already. Awesome job!
Wow thanks for the compliment!
Cool atmosphere, I think you nailed the theme, and with the right sound choice it sounds like a very good alternative take! Good job!
Thanks so much!
Good vibes, I like the ryhtmic ideas and pattern ! The entry of the second voice at 0:43 is nice too, nice job !
This was a lot of fun, fits the vibe great but has a lot more forward momentum than the original which was great. I don't have any notes really, this was just lovely.
Wow thanks!
Nice take, nailed the 8bit vibe obivously. Chord progression is pretty unique. Liked the overall vibe.
Thanks so much! I tried to keep it jazzy, since Mario is a jazzy themesong
has some good drive, the song sounds great, its good!
Instrumentation in keeping with the original track, with good use of the noise channel.
I find it perhaps a little too rhythmic for an underground theme: the beginning reminds me much more of a Zelda ^^'. And there's actually an effective melodic progression that would have worked rather well for this mood.
Thanks so much!
