Some of the things you achieved here are really impressive, the first person perspective works so well when you add those high jumps and this has so much potential as a puzzle game, I love it!

I really liked this game. Pretty 3D visuals, plays very smoothly.
I particularly like all animations like the claw, the shards and the lighting.

I played and rated yours too but ultimately never left a comment.
I had plans to release a video playing a bunch of games from the jam but got hit by numerous copyright claims on youtube (not sure which games caused it but the claims came from ContentID or whatever it's called) so I gave up and just deleted the video without ever publishing it.
I realize you didn't ask but the reason I mention is that my comment on your game was supposed to go with that video.
But that being said..
I'll just put my comment on your game in this reply instead so you at least get to read it, instead of it being lost forever:
"This was pretty cool, I'm a big fan of shaders and 3D in GMS so that's a plus for me.
Visuals were nice, got some graphical artifacts here and there but that's fine.
Gameplay wise it was ok, nothing too spectacular but still very enjoyable.

Ah, thanks for the feedback! There are indeed some graphical artifacts in my game, I'm going to have to work on those for the updated version.

There's a lot of technically impressive stuff going on here! I really like the lighting effects and the way you've got the claw model animating. I do like how the gameplay feels a lot, but there should be a casual mode or something that doesn't have the rising laser grid forcing players to rush the levels - and then a mode with the rising laser grid could still be there for the speedrunners and people looking for an extra challenge. As it is, the difficulty ramps up real quick and makes the game kind of hard to jump into.

Sure, having a mode with no laser grid wouldn't be a bad thing, it actually already exists but it's one my cheats for testing.
I didn't think about it at the time but I should probably have left that and the level select option in but I didn't so I guess it is what it is for now.
And I understand it's a bit hard.. I didn't have much time for balancing, I only managed to fix a couple of things that even I felt was too hard when playing. (it's usually easier to play your own game you know)
But anyway, thanks for playing the game. ^^
Making this in 48hours is unbelievable ! I also could not succeed at this game as I will suddenly die while holding the Neon. Kudos on making this 3D game in game maker for the jam!

Not exactly sure what you mean by "suddenly die" but I'm guessing the red grid from below reached you (it's constantly moving upwards) and that's basically the time limit for a level.
The same goes for if you throw a neon off the level then you die.
If any of those are not it then there's probably some bug going on.

Pretty nice 3d game, of course remembers me the old unreal tournament games, nice graphics settings, is a nice tech demo for GMS2 3d, the platforms were hard I would love to be a little more easier at the start, just get used to the controls and movement, pretty nice overal!
Hey thanks, yeah the old Doom / Quake / Unreal era of FPS is my go-to when making these types of games.
And yeah.. it turned out a bit too hard, didn't have much time for balancing so I get what you mean. ^^
Beautiful graphics and cool gameplay. Kinda wish the level design was more forgiving as there are many places to fall/throw a light off a cliff, etc. Didn't make past level 4

Wow this is super cool. Definitely getting that old school FPS vibe. I also absolutely LOVE you had so many settings we could play with (especially mouse sensitivity). I think a lot of gamemaker FPS games are a little hit or miss for me because FPS settings are super important to feel comfortable in a game. So love you had all that customisation available. Fun game and reminded me of those parkour challenges you find in old school FPS. Having to use air strafing and bunny hopping really felt nostalgic. Kept me wanting playing more so it is a fantastic challenge.

I try to include as many options as possible because I feel like there's no reason not to have options in a PC game, especially an FPS.
These options were a bit rushed though so there's no categorization and the sliders don't display properly, but eh.
I always try to go for the old school Quake / Doom graphics style and gameplay/feel when I make these games so definitely glad you like it. ^^
Cool! It immediately reminded me of Quake III Arena and the Resident Evil movie (the first part and the room with lasers).
The collider size is slightly lacking for fast crystal capture. Cool game =)

And yeah sure, I can agree with that, the hitbox could have been a bit larger.
I had a little bit of trouble last minute with making it so you could only pick them up when looking at them so I guess I neglected the size a bit.
