Was the music made by you or by someone else. I didn't see a credits attribution.
Also the potion of mediocrity was a nice touch.
Definitely could have used an FOV slider so I can play through the game on "Quake Pro"
Also a bouncyness slider for pure chaos and a character height slider for memes(I don't know maybe it would let you lift boxes with your forehead or something).
A gravity slider(that allows for inverted grafity) and a red/blue 3d option so I can experience the game in 4 dimensions would have been a nice touch.

These makes so much sense! Thank you! I didn't even thought them. Music had a C0 license and it didn't require any attribution, sorry I don't remember  who was it from .

Nice job on the character, I'm personally not a fan of the style but that's more due to personal taste I can tell it was well done and the death sound effect really fit the character. The awkward look around animation was funny.

Thank you!

Thanks for the elixir I guess.
It took me a while before I found the double jump setting, co maybe it was well deserved.
Good idea had fun.

I'm glad you had fun!

The character is very appealing and cute. The sound of the character dying is funny. I really loved the idea of changing the mechanics of the game in the settings. I wish I was able to keep my current settings after I died because sometimes I felt like I had the right settings, but I just messed up, and it would be convenient to keep the same settings after death. I also think the UI could be a little more clear, I didn't realize there were check boxes for double jump or wall jump at first. Overall, super unique and fun game!

Thank you! I will try to do better next time, but as a starting point I am glad you like it!

The idea is really awesome, would love to see more in the future!

Really cool idea!

Thank you!

Great idea. I agree, that the settings should carry over after dying.

Developer

Looking back, yes it would make more sense I guess. When I was planning, I didn't want player to find the optimal settings and finish the game with it.

Very neat concept! Suggestion wise, I wish you could keep your settings after each death. Sometimes I would have the right settings, but then have to re-set the settings in the menu, which affected the flow of the game for me.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I will keep it in mind. In my initial plan, I was going to add it but then I didn't want player to set the optimal settings and finish the game with it.

Really fun, but I didn't use the "walk speed" settings at all. I feel like some more interesting puzzles can be created with that, if you ever want to expand the game.

Developer

Yes, I was planning to add falling obstacles that you need to run from, for the walk speed, but unfortunately I couldn't manage my time properly.

that was tough!

I hope you enjoyed it!
