Very cool idea! I liked the visuals and the arcadey sfx, the screenshake was a nice touch too. Maybe make the box bigger?  You can always make the enemies deal more damage, but it feels a bit annoying since I could never stop all of them. It's a nice game, especially for your first time!

Very nice idea. I am not sure if it's a bug but the weapons disappear after a while. I hoped I get to keep the best multiattack till the very end. :D

Developer

Thanks for playing! That's not a bug, you lose an upgrade if an enemy hits the wall :D

Oh I see!

Super satisfying! I realized that I could hold down the shoot key which made things a lot easier xD

Like someone else said telegraphing would make this game more fun and skill-based.

Loved the music and visuals.

15 / 15 stars for me.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game.

Holding down the LMB to shoot is more convenient, but if you want to sweat, you can actually shoot up to 33% faster if you can manage to click that fast :D There is a built in limit to how fast you can shoot to prevent clickerbots etc.

I'll see if I can implement a visual feature for the walls.

it is a pretty difficult game but i liked the visuals and the sound!

Great game, even though I suck at it xD I actually kind of love how satisfying it is when the enemies hit the walls

Thank you for your feedback. The hit effect took me a while to get it the way I imagined it.

Pretty cool and well polished game!

Thank you for playing my game!

It's a fun, neat little game! The challenge does ramp up quickly and if you're not powered up enough, you get stomped, but that's what gives it good replay value. Nice work!

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Great visuals and execution! Though the game might be difficult and frustrating, the gameplay is fun and satisfying! Great job!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words!

This is very fun, the theme is well incorporated, and the shooting is very satisfying. But, walls appearing without any telegraphing when you're about to shoot a bunch of guys makes it kinda frustrating. Still, it's a 5/5 for fun and theme.

Thanks for the feedback. The same feedback regarding the walls came back during play testing, but I didn't have time to make it more apparent. I've added more information on the itch page regarding the Wall Timer and where/when the walls will spawn.

At first it was hard to figure out how exactly to play (not in terms of what keys to press, but when and for what), but I quickly got into it. The game is dynamic, sometimes difficult. I really liked the animation of losing, when the borders break into fragments. It looks amazing!

Thanks, I hope you had fun!

Cool game. A little difficult, but I like the concept and overall style.

Really nice visuals. I kinda wish there was some sort of preview for where the new walls were going to be, but other than that it's a pretty solid game. Nice work!

Thanks for your feedback! I already got that feedback regarding the walls as it seems to be unintuitive. The idea is that they spawn on the side that you're on when the Wall Timer runs out. But yeah another visual indicator would have been helpful.
