The different outcomes gives some replayability which is really nice, the visuals and music is pretty enjoyable too! I Think the perspective makes it a little hard to gauge how close or far things are which strains my eyes a tad bit but that's more of a issue on my part. I really enjoyed it! Buff baby is peak btw.

Developer(+1)

We've experimented with different perspectives and cannot seem to get it just right. Any suggestions?

it is tricky when it comes to games like that so I'm not too sure, if it doesn't interfere with your games visuals, you could add a thin darker color on the walls sort of like a ring which represents your current position if you know what I mean.

Awesome music. The controls were fluid (no pun intended?) and it was very easy to understand and get into. Also, funny interpretation of the theme. Nice job!

so freaking funny , great job

No way bro made a game about that haha. Picking up ADN is difficult but the moment you get the hang of the control scheme the game is a lot of fun.

Nice job. I found it difficult to to line up with the pickups to collect them, but overall nice work and certainly a unique take on the theme. Good luck

Developer

Would you say the difficulty of hitting the pickups made it more fun or less?

Submitted(+2)

For me, less. Sometimes it felt a little unfair. I think I was negative DNA almost the whole time I played.

I think that the shape of the spikes is a bit inconvenient and sometimes it's annoyingly hard to avoid them, but overall great game! :>

Developer(+1)

haha I totally agree honestly, thank you though!

Developer(+2)

That was something we addressed a lot in playtesting. Thanks for your input! We can vary the probability of spikes and their scale. I was thinking of adding some code that allows the probability of long spikes versus short spikes be varied based on your response.

Nice game! Loved the idea XD

Bro this is super creative. The gameplay is addictive as well

3d flappy bird with mouse as the "jump" control is quite difficult, especially when you are moving fast with slightly low left-right speed and camera's in 3d perspective  <--- it might be a skill issue. Visuals are quite great by consistency.

I liked it even if Flappy Bird style games are not my favorites

Developer

Thank you!!:)

This is legitimately really good lmao, feels like a 3D flappy bird. If I had one complaint, the camera perspective sometimes makes it difficult to judge distance, but seriously, well done!

(I also love the detail that collecting DNA in a streak pitches the sound effect up)

Developer(+2)

thank you!!! Yeah thats what my friends main complaint was, I couldn’t seem to get it to feel quite right, this was our first game ever so I’m sure I I’ll figure that out eventually haha.

Loved it, although i would say that either the prespective or the hitbox on DNA and the other one seemed a bit off. nontheless pretty funny idea!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
