Ok, this game has absoluetly sick graphics, and a cool concept. Though I will admit, I some how got stuck on the second level... Idk I'm probably just stupid but I wish I could've figured it out.

First of all, 3D with pixel art is something that needs to be explored in more games, I think this game has the best visuals I've seen so far in the jam :D

The caged girl was a "nice" surprise. At first she killed me near her jail so I thought "I'm just gonna leave you there, then". After that I realized there's a hidden button on a wall. Very good idea to make all the small walls around that area, managed to dodge her just in time.And then there are cockroaches which are the most annying thing in existance (both in this game and irl :p). I stopped there tho; from what I've seen in the screenshots the next level had a dragon or a demon, kind of sad I didn't see it in game.
Anyway, as I said the game was very good and I enjoyed it a lot! Good job, Dabt!

I nearly quit after not figuring out how to open the cell for the very nice lady in the second level. But eventually did the thing and got dead and then my last two brain cells rubbed together to figure it out. I really love how well this game is done! Sticks to the dungeon theme and is really thought out. I love how this game teaches you to have a self protection pot at all times.

That throw for the button was sorta like a tutorial saying "throwing things at other things can do stuff" , glad you enjoyed it tho
You could've also squashed all the spiders by throwing them paintings and pots on the start of the level, there is enough for all of them

Amazing game! It was really enjoyable and the use of shadows made the levels feel larger which was nice. But I had to really turn up the volume to hear the footsteps. Also having a crosshair of sorts just to know where Im pointing at with an object would have been helpful for aiming.
Thank you, on the crosshair thing, i just couldnt make one that fit the style, circular didnt feel right, nor the generic cross, so i just didnt add one.

It's a great game, but it definitely falls apart towards the end. The lag, dying instantly, and the fact that it's tough to keep track of all of the monsters at the same time means I couldn't get past level 5 and got pretty frustrated. The fun little detail of moving slower with an item doesn't help, even though I liked it at first.
The art is definitely great, though! Blending 2D and 3D and using billboard sprites is always an aesthetic I enjoy.
Definitely a solid entry overall!
the walking slower with an item was to make you not be able to hoard items around, would make the game too easy, level 4 is quite laggy, alot of enemies on there and not alot of time to optimize AI, but level 5(the boss) is smooth
Its a horror game so knowing where enemies are is kinda agaisnt the idea, but u can hear them coming through sound

I feel like the lag made reacting to enemies quite hard, I also wasn't sure what level I was on, hence confusing 4 with five, lmao.
nice. this could be a hit indie game if you released a full version. and the enemies with the low visibility makes this game kinda scary.
Im thinking about it, but im probably needing to refactor the whole game, its coded like crap, the game lags alot in level 4
