first play: what
second play (after I read the instructions): leaderboard status babey
LETSGO good job! If I could do one thing differently, it would have been to make a tutorial or something to explain how to play. I know it’s a bit obtuse. Thanks for playing!
Congrats, there's a lot going on here. A rare combination of rust and go code!
On my first play through I didn't notice the "type your name" part of the leaderboard screen and didn't end up submitting the score. It took a couple back-and-forths between the game and directions on the itch page before I actually figured out what on earth was going on. I wish there was a bit more feedback in-game to distinguish clock-setting and clock-winding, and to indicate when a clock is "set enough."
Yeah we really needed a tutorial… I wanted to add some sort of tutorial and some sort of indication to denote that you are in the acceptable set threshold but it didn’t come through in time. And yeah I’m a full stack / cloud engineer by trade and spinning up some AWS infrastructure in Go for the leaderboard was a quick and easy way to make it happen. Thank you so much for playing and leaving your thoughts!
Took me a little while to understand what I was meant to do, but after reading the instructions a few times I got the hang of it. A pretty stressful game, luckily they don’t make clocks like they used to any more :D
Given more time we'd probably add an on-screen tutorial or some indicators. But not having those things definitely adds to the "panic" factor!
Yeah… if I could have gotten one more thing in the game it would have been a tutorial or something. The learning curve is pretty intense without it

so incredibly addicting! extremely well done, very unique and fun all around
Thanks for the kind words! I appreciate you giving the game a try.
I'm happy you enjoyed it!
Aah, why does filling up on oil take so looong XD
I was indeed panicked, and I also had fun, good job
It takes a while and the oil leaks faster and faster so the further you get in the game it takes longer and longer. If we had more time, I would have liked to add more information about the mechanics. It is what it is. Glad you had fun! I played your game before the jam ended but haven’t been back to rate it yet. It’s on my agenda for the week
Tickery Tockery is thirsty
Really loved the game, design was actually good, i liked both sounds and graphics, and it was more "dynamic" than I expected to be.
Really well done :)
Hey thanks for the comment. We're glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the game. I am on a mission to play and rate as many of the entries as I can. I haven’t gotten to yours yet but I will!
