Really fun! The intro cutscene was funny, I liked the recoil mechanic, I think having some more stages would be cool, or maybe even seeing this in a linear game?
This was a great time! I loved whipping my enormous fully charged strand of fettucine all over the place. I enjoyed the variety of enemies and especially the animation of the big guys jumping around. The balance is well thought out regarding regulating how much beam you use and using it for multitasking, wiping out oodles of enemies lined up with a battery. Loved the music too, fantastic work!
Overloading the laser is a lot of fun. The cooldown between firing was really smart inclusion, made me think a lot more carefully about firing.
Here's a vod of me playing your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2373375091?t=00h50m50s
very cute and bite-sized game! i loved the music, it reminded me of something from Mother 1... GREAT WORK!
Cool game! I like the tutorial and the different level themes, also the music. Great job!
Love zooming around the field
This game has so much personality! I love how when you lose, the drone takes the "Regenerator" back and just leaves your body lol
Squeezing a tutorial into a game jam is also really impressive
Really fun game! I love the presentation and underlying themes. It was very challenging though, I barely cracked a profit on easy difficulty so hard was a bit much but that's a me problem lol. I think the game may benefit from being able to fire your laser in more directions, especially with the purple enemies being able to shoot diagonally, that's only a small complaint though. Overall really great! Especially for your first game jam!
