Sick game! Crazy how much effort must've went into the opening couple minutes alone.
Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game :D
Pretty cool game, I like the Snowman Dark Souls vibe you went for. The level is nicely designed and has that shortcut idea where you keep going back to your original campfire. Also, you got a great boss with multiple stages and moves really cool. However, I do gotta say the basic snowmen are a pain in groups, they can stack on you and lock you up from attacking back and that landing/jumping SFX should be changed, not the best on the ears. Great work! Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback. And great! You finished the game! That's awesome! And you chose the dark final, my favourite ;)
Yeah sometimes the snowmen are too many, I agree. Some groups have a bomber, and you can parry the bombs to send them back and kill them all. But some have not, so you need to concentrate a lot :D
Looks interesting! I couldn't get past the first level but it's a good looking game for sure. On the other hand, at least on my machine, the game seems to run fairly slow and also there's a .75 second delay between hitting space and my snowman actually performing the jump. The environment looks really cool though. Maybe the background could be 2D side-scrolling instead of 3D? Good game!
thank you! The game should perform well on basically any computer. I suppose some browsers give problems with lights, since game is not heavy at all. I'll add a downloadable version for people with issues
thanks again!
Really good job!
The art is very good, but could use a little more contrast. It's hard to tell where is the ground sometimes.
The atmosphere is great, fits right into the dark story. The movement and combat is a little awkward, thou; the parry won't work (maybe it's lag from playing in the browser?), so I had to rush everything with a hit and run style.
Definitely looks like it would be better playing as standalone instead of the web.

Thanks! The parry (perfectly executed) should work fine up to 10 fps or more, in principle. But maybe if fps are too low it has a bad feeling.
I agree, a downloadable version is a good idea. I kept the project as webGL since it is not too heavy, and I think people like more to play game without downloads in game jams. But I can add a downloadable version, too
Thanks again!
You made a really good work on the art, never thought you could make a 3d environment with two colors! It was a little confusing and the text at the bottom was a little small, at least on my screen. I really liked the background music and the death effect had a effect.
Thanks for the feedback. As already said, while we falled in love with the shader effect as soon as we developed it, we had an hard time by managing lightning, so we tried to make things as clear as possible in the short time that we had (considering also that game mechanics took a lot of time too). I think we'll try to improve the game even more in the future
A little confusing honestly. I like the way you made B&W work on 3D, but I had this feeling in the back of my head that some dithered ambient occlusion or just some contrasting outlines on the levels would add a lot for clarity. The ambience is great tho.
And ez mode pls :P
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I had a hard time trying to make things as clear as possible. And believe me, the situation was dramatic a couple days before jam ending :D first time I attempt something like that, so I guess it's ok, but I'll try to improve it, sure!
Loved it
Thanks!
Awesome graphics! Really love the style. Combat feels satisfying and I really love the upgrades! Amazing game. Great job!
Thanks so much!
Pretty awesome game! the shader for the graphics are onto the point, the controls are a bit weird, if you spam attack in the air, you will get stuck, but overall awesome game!
Thank you!
Yeah the weird behavior when you attack is in my to do list... No time to fix all bugs 😅
Such a cool graphics effect! Overall a really well rounded game.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game!
super cool game! I felt a little lost when I fell down a massive hole and dint know how to get back up but the combat was fleshed out I loved the are and the sound was so atmospheric
Thanks!
Yeah, getting a bit lost is part of the experience. Unfortunately, I had some difficulties to characterize enough the ambient so that one can say "oh, I have already been here!". I think it should work with the first house (that you are going to see three times in the game), not so sure about the other locations. The first map sketch was even more labyrinthic, but I needed an in game map for that, and had no time to develop it. But it should be easy enough to find the right way, I guess :D
Glad you enjoyed the combat, the art and the music!
