Is there supposed to be sound? I tried to navigate the menus on the webgl version, but navigating in and out was a challenge in of itself, since hitting ESC shows your mouse, and clicking back into the game breaks things. So I avoided the options menu, and am going to assume there isn't sound or music. If there is, then I was unable to hear any of it or affect the volume this way.
Bro, let me skip the text. I clicked on the mouse hole and 5 minutes later I finally could move. i liked the story, but I read waay faster than the text was going, so it was a slog just to go through something I didn't expect.
Got the poison, left, "We Once Were Two..." message popped up, softlock? Or did I wait for something? So much in this game moves so slow. I couldn't even open a menu to restart? I guess I beat it. I have no idea.
Maybe it's just me, but I did not really have a good experience, Could totally be user error, and could also be because of the time constraints, but this is rough. It has potential to be great, and I see an interesting story, but some QoL needs to happen should you pursue this (which you totally should)
The art is cool, and I like the walk animation, idk the juxtaposition of the South Park style movement over the harsh backing story was hilarious to me. I'm glad you got it in on time and you should be glad to have something submitted this smoothly animated in time for the jam!
Thank you for all your words!
As for the sound, there isn't any implemented, we had planned for it to be, but we weren't able to in the end.
Yeah, the text speed was one of the feedback we have received, and hopefully, we can add that option and improve on it.
For the message, that is the end of the game, we had to rush it a little.
But we're glad you enjoyed the animations, and are thankful for your words.
Absolutely loved this one and the art is really really nice.
I loved the effect on that popped up on the screen it was really nice.
The one thing i would comment on is when your driving the car, as I know your supposed to crash into the avalanche but before hand if you crash into a car nothing happens.
Overall i had a good time playing this and it was a fun little experience.
Thank you for your words !
Yeah the car minigame could still use some tweaking, but that was the most we could do within the time.
If you have some time id also love it , if you could rate my game and give it some feed back :).
Very nice art! Great use of value and contrast :)
Thanks a lot !
after exiting the house for the second time, the camera loses track of the character you're controlling. Can't get very far but from what i saw, seems pretty good.
Thank you!
Yeah you are able to leave the second house before you're supposed to(not intended), if you want to progress make sure you interact with everything in the house first.
This is some good psychological horror right here, it's a scary concept. Also the art is SO GOOD. Is there supposed to be sound?
Thanks you for the kind words!
That was exactly what we were trying to go for with the game, and I'm glad you liked it.
Unfortunately we didn't have the time to implement the sound, which would have helped even further with the concept, there were just too many things happening that we just weren't able to implement it.
I was looking forward to playing your game. I liked what you posted on Discord. But I couldn't get the game to run. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the interest!
Sometimes when you move/click with the mouse after running the game, it can break things, so if you try clicking run game and then just using the keyboard it should(hopefully) work.
