Really cool game and pretty graphics ! Was it intentional that most of the levels could be beaten without be beaten ?
No clue what you meant by that last bit sorry ^^;
But thanks for the compliments!
Oh just read my comment and it definitely doesn't make any sense haha. I meant "Was it intentional that most of the levels could be beaten without dying ?".
Yeah, I didn't have much time to design puzzles so the mechanic didn't get used much, it's the one thing I'm upset I didn't handle before time ran out ._.
Super polished! But it's 3 colors. Based on the rules, "gray" counts as a color too. Hope u can fix this quick before the game's evaluated by the judges!
Whoops, I think I forgot to put in the description of the game that the gray was actually done with alpha channels in the code ^^; My bad! Thanks for the compliment about the polish though :>
Cool art, fun mechaninc and a pretty good player movement.
Cool game! :D
Thanks! :D
It's a pity that there are so few levels : (I really liked the game, especially the drawing
I'm working on a prototype for an expansion ;P
with many more slice of life features like a level editor & fixed movement systems
thanks for the nice comment btw! :D
Great Job on the character sprite! Loved the FNF easter egg! Overall solid game, movement felt good, rock physics were a little weird though.
The movement in this is so smooth! A little bit more polish around movement in some of the tighter spaces and maybe a wall jump, and the character controller could legit be shipped :)
Superb art and music as well. Lots of polish throughout, and a fun use of the theme.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the movement, that's the one thing I probably should've polished a bit more ^^;
This was super well made! Definitely the most polished take on the "body turns into platform" concept I've seen with how well paced the respawn is and with how objects like the rock are also used in conjunction with the rose you leave behind. The spritework is also excellent, love the player character's design and movement.
Thank you! I loved your game as well! :D
THIS WAS REALLY COOL. I HAD A BLAST!!!! Loved the music and the little dudes design is so cute ;.; Definitely would love to see u guys expand this into a bigger game with maybe more complex levels and such, theres definitely the skills for it !!
Thank you!! :D
We're currently toying with the idea of a GAUDETE expansion, it could be a fun first full game :P
This game was super fun to play through however the puzzles did seem a little simple (but its a game jam so i didn't really expect otherwise). There's also a really nice feel to the game overall.
I love the art style and the idea of using your dead body/the flower to help solve the puzzles.
The rock did see to really fly though when i pushed it so maybe some more weight to make it feel heavier would of been good.
Overall it was a really fun experience and id love to see more of it.
I agree with what you said about the rock & the puzzles, I didn't put enough time into tweaking those as I was just pushing to get it stable ^^; I'm glad you liked the game though! Thanks for the great feedback :D
Really fun game. I haven't seen that death flower mechanic before and it's really clever.
Thank you!
Really solid game! The concept was a really fun idea, although the puzzles were quite simple(understandably for a game jam), would love to see this idea expanded upon. The game felt very polished which is always hard so great job!! Well done! :)
Yeah, didn't have much time to make more complex puzzles due to the time constraint & my lack of experience sadly. I'm glad you liked it though, thanks for the kind words :D
a flower bloomed on the button and i couldn’t finish the level
That's why I threw in the "Reset Level" button in the pause menu ^^;
ig that’s better than making flower unable to grow on them
Art and Music are great, nice interpretation of the theme. Honestly, for a game jam, you did incredibly well.
Thank you! :D
This is definitely the most visually impressive game I've played so far. The post processing, the menus, the insanely fluid animations, it's all really well done. I do wish the puzzles explored the possibilities a little more, but with the time given I see how that wasn't much of an option. Nice job!!!!!!
I'm flattered, thank you for the nice words! This was my first serious game jam that I've completed a game for so I'm happy to see the positive feedback :D
This was a joy to play. Puzzles were fun to solve and weren't too hard. Just as it should be for game jams.

Bugs / Suggestions:
Thank you for the feedback! In regards to the rock, I'll be honest and say I procrastinated and while I did have a good chunk of time left to try and fix it at the end, I decided not to risk messing up something crucial and left it in as stable a state I could get it into.
I'm glad you liked the controls! I spent some time tweaking values there to try and make it as enjoyable as possible.
Thanks for playing!
A very well designed puzzle-platfomer. The mechanic is quite original and fits the theme very well. The art and music fit the tone and is overall a very solid game. Would love to see this concept further refined with more levels, enemies, puzzles, etc.
Thank you! I personally would also like to give it a second try and refine it, as I feel like I didn't give myself enough time to make good puzzles with the mechanic. Maybe in the future :P
It looks incredible! I love the player animation and the music really fits the game. The controls feel good too but I think that a coyote jump timer would've been good to implement (It feels off to try to jump but instead start to glide). You could make a puzzle game with this art style and mechanic and I would totally buy it.
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that you like the look of the game, as I do too :D
Regarding the gliding, I do admit that the slight awkwardness of the glide completely slipped past my eyes, as I was focused on fixing some aggravating underlying bugs, but I'm glad it didn't hinder your experience too much. Thanks again!
Nice job! I played to the finish (plus bonus rounds, of course). Really smooth player movement and glide -- the game has a really nice feel in terms of the gameplay. The artwork made great use of the b/w, the UI mechanics all work well, and the menus and sound effects gave it a nice polish.
I enjoyed the gliding so much that on Bonus level 9, I glided right over the little white collider that ends the round (I figured out its function after a few plays) and into the abyss, and needed to restart :) -- the only such thing I found.
Nice work!
I'm glad you liked it! And to sum up the reason as to why level 9 is so weird -- the original ending to that was just that wonky lil square so I left it in. Level 9's title, "Test Level" explains this as I stopped modifying that level after I designed level 1 :P
