My heart was ripped out of me when I was about to win and the blocks fell over before the timer haha. Fun, cute game :)

This is a nice take on game dev theme, it really feels like I'm building my game while getting distracted by errors and warnings. Not sure if player is needed here though. There's a lot of sliding, so I guess collisions could be a handled better. I found only one bug so far: you can drag blocks into a platform. But it doesn't ruin the expirience :)

You can watch my playthrough at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/325949658?t=00h57m55s

Also be sure to rate my game too https://itch.io/jam/blackthornprod-game-jam-1/rate/319192

Frustrating and stressful but soooo satisfying when I beat it. I'd say work on the collision detection a bit, and maybe make it so pieces can be rotated.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Being able to rotate the pieces would definitely  give the player more control and would probably make the game more enjoyable.

An excellent idea I would like to see much more. Good job

I really enjoyed this game! It was short, but was pretty hard. I struggled a lot with those red errors, I jut wanted to stack, but they kept coming! And sometimes I just forgot I had a character to take care of and ended up making it fall from the platform! This stress felt great at the end, when I finally managed to build my game! XD
Keep the good work!

Cool, a bit confusing, but good. I built my game!

It was really stressfull to balance all the items but it was fun :)

Very nice idea, and it is well implemented, I felt compelled to optimise everything. Works with the theme too. :)

Pretty cool little game, maybe add a limit, so if you already have enough of script pieces, they wont spawn ?

If you have time, check out my game as well, thanks:

I don't really know if the jumping added much to the game.  I also wanted a little more control over the pieces but I guess there was not much imminent doom, so it was an eventuality that the game would be created.  I did have fun in the end, but parts were also frustrating.

Developer

Next time I will definetly do more play testing, to see what needs improvement. Thank you for your feedback!

I really liked your game, it fits the theme and the difficulty is ok :) Keep up the good work :)

Developer

Thank you!

Awesome work mate :) !! The game was short but had me hooked and enjoying every single minute ! It also fit the theme of the jam really nicely and the art, though simple went really well with the tetris like/ mad physics gameplay !

Kee it up :) !!

Developer

Yes, the game is pretty short and I am not so familiar with unity. I whanted to submit something that isn't full of bugs so I concentrated on fixing bugs instead of making the game longer. When I have more experience (maybe next jam) I will definetly try to make my game longer!
