I really like the background music! :)
It did take me a few tries to find out that I had to shop for new energy but after that the game really started to shine, it was a fun experience

The music got a little redundant but was nice. I really enjoyed the shop, lots of fun power ups to buy. I felt maybe a cooldown on shooting instead of ammo that runs out really quickly would have been better. The overall concept was good but just need some tweaks on the gameplay.

Nice game, quite fun. I liked the exceptions and how they make those annoying windows pop up, and you have to switch to your mouse as fast as you can and close them. I've finished it several times just to see how many cannons I could build. Got to 5 :)
Cool, thanks for playing! After I release an update (which I'm working on right now), cannons would be more available and you'll be able to get more than 8 in one playthrough. That way it'll be more rewarding to kill a bunch of enemies :)
It was a fun concept. I liked how blocking the view was a really hard thing to manage. Aiming was tricky. I wonder if using a mouseclick would have made the game too easy or faster. Great job man.

Cool game! I love having to balance the energy with motivation. One problem is that when you run empty on energy you are stuck. I am not sure if I like the window that you have to click, but that's exactly like in real life! :)
Thanks! The game is kinda punishing. You meant to be stuck if you were killing not enough enemies and constantly missing, but I'll make that part easier in the next update, stay tuned :)
Really good concept, and abstraction. Having to balance your energy and motivation works when put into real life context too. :) I really liked the errors that give you pop ups. I especially like the design of the pop ups, it fits together with the overall aesthetics well. Gameplay is responsive, and particle effects fit in neatly. Only thing I am not a fan of is the main characters design (the turrets design) The low resolution pixelised aesthetic is maybe too exaggerated on that one. Other than that tho it looks pretty polished, and game feel is pretty good! :)
Thanks for feedback! I think you're right about character and cannon designs. I just had no idea how else I could represent your character (your game) and cannons, so it came out like this. In the next update I'll come up with something more fitting for my game style :)
Wow, I had fun playing this, but I think, the text enemies is really annoying, they are just making the game too hard :)

Good game, i found it a little hard, but this is a matter of opinion, i also liked that you can give a name to your game at the start! The graphics also were very good
Yeah, it is hard at the beginning but it gets progressively easier with more purchased cannons :)

That was fun! Having to balance energy and motivation was quite interesting, and I enjoyed the challenge. However, I felt that the errors that opened up a window were a little to hard to hit because they're so narrow, which made it harder to shoot them 3 times as you had to line up your shots very carefully, which takes time. Other then that though, I enjoyed your game quite a bit. Nice job!

Great game, difficult at the start but gets easier with additional cannons. I like the idea of annoying popups when errors hit you, good job, keep up the good work :)

This is a fun shooter that has some neat upgrades available. IF you can survive the difficult part early on, you can become extremely powerful as there is no limit on the amount of extra cannons! Also cannons make you more Energy efficient so they are a really OP upgrade. Music is nice but sound effects are what this game needs to bring it to life! Multiple enemy types and how they are dealt with is cool. Exceptions are worth a lot of points and pose a serious threat and are my favorite part of the Theme. A good experience that leave me wanting more. You suggested an infinite wave mode in the future, that sounds awesome!

It's a fun game couldn't get past day 5.The little bug window that pops out is a nice frustrating(in a good way) mechanic.Though it really sucks when you're out of energy and don't have enough points for coffee.It's a interesting take on the theme.
Thanks for feedback! I think you're right about energy, I thought about energy-regeneration so the game would be less punishing, but it's meant to be hard enough so you could have difficulties just like in game dev :)
Oh yeah that part is accurate. I mean any game dev that gets his energy purely from coffee is going to have a hard time not passing out :D
Intresting concept, and very hard. Its espeicially challanging to rotate the player / game with the right and left button. I think it would be more compelling if you aimed towards the mouse instaed.
I aslo, noticed that we have very simmular game names. Finish your games! and FinishMyGame, thats pretty cool.

Classic gameplay but well made with a nice touch of humour! The idea of the error window that make you lose a lot of time is great!
I liked it, fun game, fun shop, even if buying the last item makes no sense as you could just buy two coffees and watch a blackthornprod video for 100 less.

Probably one of the best games in the jam - it certainly deserves to be! Innovation has a strong hold on this, and the visual style is great! I would really like to see many more games made by you!

That was great :) !! The pixel art was colorful and juicy and the music really gave the whole piece a nice vibe !
I loved how you could type out the name of your game at the start, that was a wondeful little touch ! And that shop with (watch BTP's videos...), that was pure awesomeness (is that a word ;D ?)
My one complaint is that there's no juicy sound effect when you destroy a bug, but other than that great job :)) ! Keep it up mate !
