Nice art, reminds me of Blackthornprod's style. It seems like you did some dungeon generation for this, so that's cool; a lot of the rooms were empty though, so they just created needless backtracking.
Also, as shooting is the majority of the gameplay, it would be nice to have some more feedback when your bullets hit (e.g. enemies flash white for a moment when they get hit).
Good game! I like the aesthetics and the feeling you get playing it :) Congratulations!
You could add some sound effects and maybe some objects to make things more interesting.
Thank you for playing the game! :)
Wow, very good game :D .. I like the art and the smooth gameplay..
The game reminds me of the dungeons from the first Zelda..
Nice game, congratulations on your entry for the gamejam ^^'
Hey, thank you for playing the game! I'm happy that you liked it. :)
Reminds me more of the Binding of Isaac...
The music was great.
A few more variations of powerups and boss fights and this would have been so sweet. Nice work!
Thank you for playing and rating the game! Initially I wanted to create the game with 3 bosses and each representing a part of game development... but I didn't manage my time correctly and went only with this. :)
Cute game!
Try to add collectibles or secrets to discover next time, this feels a little pointless to explore this dungeon right now.
Keep it up!
Thank you, I intend to expand this idea more. Now indeed it lacks any reason to go through the dungeon.
my favorite so far from the 20 i have played. Lovely music but sounds a bit stocked, did you make it or not?
Thank you, I'm happy that you enjoyed the game! :) As for the music... I did not create it myself because I don't have any knowledge about doing music. It was created by syncopika and I found it on OpenGameArt.
Overall, the game is really fun, and i like the art and music. However, it doesnt really fit the theme of the game jam.
Great job! :D
Thank you for playing! Indeed it's not very visible the connection with the theme. :)
Those If statements are brutal! Aesthetics are really nice and feels good with the music :).
Thank you for playing and rating the game! :D
I enjoyed the game, the art is simple and I like it and the music is relaxing and fits the style (school paper background).
You should add some music effects for shoots and damage and maybe different drops that can change the player shooting system!
Anyway I think it's enough for the Jam so well done :D
Thank you for playing and rating the game... this is a motivational boost! :D
Good game, a bit easy, I didnt feel the need to kill enemies, just walked past them / doged. The game could use some sounds, fighting would be more rewarding then :) Also nice art :D
Thanks, the game needs some more polish and the risk and reward doesn't really exist. And this may be a problem because the player doesn't really have a motivation fight the enemies. :D
The If enemies moved way to fast. Also, there were no visual indicators to know the health of the enemies. I liked the music, but it seemed too cheery for the situation. I liked the art but was not really sure what they were supposed to represent in Game Dev. The If made sense. Am I blood?
Thanks for the feedback. I will keep in mind on the next game jam :D. As for the main character I wanted to represent "motivation" but I had no idea how to do it, so I went with something simple and hope funny with a clock on it's belly, representing the needed time to overcome the obstacles encounter in Game Dev.
Good game it's like playing tboi I love it, i like the music but it feels a bit repetitive after playing a while.
Thank you! :D
Thank you, I apreciate the feedback! Indeed "The binding of isaac" was the reference gameplay. :D
This game was very good!
The music and the art were cute, and the random enemies adds up replayability. And I hate the "If" and the "Error" enemies >.<
I think it was great that the final boss is the procrastination monster with all social media to get in our way XD
You did a good job!
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. :D
I enjoyed the visuals and the Binding of Isaac style combat worked very well. The If enemies are savage! Good job.
Thank you for playing. :D
