Really polished game, and an addictive core mechanic! Great "click-mania" style of game, with fitting sound effects! The types of code attacks felt varied which introduced more gameplay depth! The UI was also implemented very well! Some of the bullets which damaged the mouse felt a bit too quick for me (might be my bad gaming skills lol). Overall, very enjoyable game!
Thank you for the feedback! :0
Very original idea! I loved it!! It became chaotic quickly!
Thanks! :)
Fun game. I was a little surprised when I understood that I actually am the cursor and have to avoid stuff with it. Good job!
Tysm :D
Nice and fun game, I like the unusual mechanich. Sometimes it's hard to understand how to avoid malus. In conclusion a fun game with good visuals and polishing!
Thank you!
This was definitely a fun playthrough, fits the theme pretty well in comparison to a lot of other games I played. Plus it had full sound and music throughout which is the first time I've seen that this jam. Some feedback tho:
With the entirety of the game though I have to say the aesthetic was nice, the concept is interesting and it's definitely a fun time to try and avoid the code defender while deleting everything. The big thing personally for me would be to add some sort of very quick warning as to when it is coming. That way you have some warning for some of the things. (Explosions killed me a lot okay!)
Thank you for the feedback! ^0^
Criticism - At the beginning in the story, I would suggest splitting up the words more into smaller chunks so people don't skip the reading because it looks like a lot. Also when the code thing first came I was very confused about how I died on how to avoid dying, so maybe in the tutorial emphasize more that the cursor is your player.
Support - The concept is super innovative and out there, and the visuals are reminiscent of old operating systems which I like.
I will definitely take this into consideration for the next jam, thank you! :-)
It has a nice story, although the game itself is a bit repetitive. I wouldve liked stuff like if the screen flipped the controls also flipped to make it harder, and stuff like that, but overall it's good!
As other people has pointed out, the game could use a little bit more work.. Thank you for the feedback! :D
Great Game. Was really hard for me though. I really like the art style. :-)
Thank you! Other people have talked about the difficulty and I wish I had made it easier..
Fun game. Could use some work and is very hard but overall nice game!
Ahh I know, most of the time was spent actually getting the game done. I would've loved to add more polish, and other difficulties. Thanks for the feedback!
PS: It's supposed to be a hard game >:)
I didn't know why I lose, or how to prevent that, haha.
I think it has too much text in the "how's to", you need to be more concise.
The concept is great, I had fun, but I couldn't relate it to 'less is more'.
Thanks for the feedback! :D
(You can prevent yourself from losing by gaining extra time, and by dodging attacks)
really cool idea with a great execution! i was a bit confused on why i lost at times but still really fun
Thank you ! (There are three ways to lose: running out of time, getting killed, deleting all the files)
Pretty cool concept! Had fun playing it. :)
Tysm! :D
very good
Thank you :)
Congratz on completing your game, how do you attack the enemy?!
You're a cursor, so you just have to avoid attacks. "Killing" the code would be considered deleting all the files
ah I got it! :-)
This game is great. I like how code trying to stop you from deleting files in more different ways. I think It's original.
Thank you! :)
