I had problems with the controls in the beggining because I can't see any tutorial. Later I realize that actualy there is a tutorial in the game but the option may be hidden because I am playing in a 21:9 screen hahahaha. Anyways, it is an amazing amount of work for just 1 week. The concept and the art are very very good. Congratulations mate, it is an incredible jam game.
This is a really cool game concept and an impressive amount of art with all the items and environment, nice work! One small thing is that I managed to fall off the bottom of the map when I went to the far right hand side past the first project there. Love the art style as well, great work!
If you get a chance any feedback on my game would be much appreciated
Cheers
Thanks for playing my game on your stream, was really cool to see someone playing it!
Hey I really like the graphics!! Good job making all of it in a week!
Would appreciate if you can check mine out too:)
thanks a lot, I will check yours definitely ! :)
Hey, was playing the game trying to upgrade everything but i couldn't pick anything after a while. I kept converting items into parts and made a huge heap which ended up giving me lag spikes and stopped me from picking up more items. I loved the art style and it kept me engaged, reminded me of story books xD. Another suggestion, could you increase the inventory size? It took me a while running with the items to finish the upgrades.
thanks a lot for your review and suggestions. I'm aware of this bug and the lags. I'm fixing it now :)
I will increase the inventory, great idea! I will also probably create a crafting box, like what you craft would fall in a box (like anothe inventory) so there will be less game objects at once.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
It's fun but a little bit laggy. I like the art style a lot.
Amazing. I played this game for hours to finish the upgrade
So cool to hear that! There's a bug at some point where you cannot pick stuff anymore, I heard it's maybe because the rigidbodies fall asleep. So I couldn't finish all the upgrades myself in one go, I had to restart to make them till the end. It's a bug that I'm trying to fix now.
I'm glad you had fun with it :)
Oh and by the way, sometimes the game lag really hard. I think it's because there are too many collisions of Items
yes it's a bit laggy, I feel ashamed for this, I didn't have to time anymore to test the game for an extensive time. But I'm glad you liked it ! :)
ok so there is so much art that was made in this project in this short amount of time, for some reason the game lags from time to time in the unity app, but that is the only issue, the game itself is fun and its like i played a game that was made for an cartoon. Really nice!
I'm glad you liked it, yes it gets laggy, I didn't handle well the number of game objects!
I'm going to continue this game and fix these issues.
There's a baffling amount of art in this game considering you only had a week to make it.
thanks a lot !
For all the art, I even drew all of it on paper with pencil and then colored it on photoshop. It was the biggest part of the game dev, I never worked so hard and never thought I could produce so many assets in that time!
Very polished! Good job!
Absolutely gorgeous visuals, and interesting gameplay. Good job!
Had a ton of fun playing the art was stunting and I loved all the sounds. Played don https://www.twitch.tv/happytwitch500
Very beautiful game! Good visuals and gameplay. Music would be nice and the font was difficult to read. Had good time playing it! Keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot!!! I really appriecitate it :)
tried out the unity version, i love the game!
one bug to note that i found if you get out the right side of the house and keep going you will fall off the map , and keep falling off forever it doesnt have a barrier like the left side
I'm glad you like it!
Yes I forgot that one collider on the right XD
nice Game, liked it a lot. Very nice visuals and sounds. I think music would be nice as well. Maybe its just a bug.
Thanks a lot for your review!
There's a radio you can turn on when you unlock the antenna. Then there's music :)
I added a Unity App build for the people who couldn't install it.

greatt!
ill make sure to try it out
Thanks a lot!
There is a lot to love about this game. The whole "feel" of the game is comfortable, right at home. It reminds me a lot of stardew valley or harvest moon. The art is very charming and the sounds are soft and realistic. It really immerses me in the game. Though the game can be a bit laggy sometimes, this is a great entry!
its a well put together game with a rare theme in this jam. its nice to see something with a slower pace! you should pick up more rating by checking on community tab where ppl are taking game requests to play.
Wow I really enjoyed playing your game! Great take on the theme
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
It doesn't look like you rated it, or did you and it doesn't show?
What can I say. I didn't expect game on game jam that well made and it's very rare that any game jam holds me for so long.
Game Design:
Amazing thing, you can really feel the immersion with the game. There are many interactions, from lighting up lamps to putting pictures on the walls, great job on that! (waiting for the telescope and tv to be interactable :P). Love that you can really see your progress with the middle construction phase, it also gives a lot of motivation to finish up your work. From what I could suggest, definitely interactions are doing the work here, so if you could add at least several more, it would be amazing!
Theme:
Totally not obvious, but truly well fitting game to the theme. Not only you take care of garbage by utilizing it, but you get much more from it with great suprises and a lot of satisfaction!
Visuals:
I really like the artstyle here, it's warm, cozy. Gets mysterious at some times (night etc). It isn't flawless as there are sometimes bugs or some sprite glitches, but it's good enough to make them irrelevant. (Moon and sun with speed of light were actually pretty funny :P). Great idea with day/night cycle, maybe it would be better to make it a bit longer and add some specified interactions (e.g using telescope at night).
SFX:
Sounds are really well made and they are fitting (even if you craft a lot, you don't really get annoyed by this crafting sound, which is really good). And the experience you provided with music was, well astonishing :P I have never seen (heard) that before in any game, that you start completely silent and at some point you get welcomed with really beautiful music (it's great that the further you go, the lower the volume is). Amazing job here. Maybe it would be good to add at least some really silent and peaceful background music from the beginning, but keep it low to make that good contrast with the surprise!
Gameplay:
For a week gamejam it was really something. On my second playthrough I already got used to the entire system and it was a lot of fun. Maybe there should be a bit more explanation on how to do things like crafting or building, but apart from that it was enjoyable. Oh and it would be good if you could handle inventory a bit better, like maybe some shortcuts to make process easier (hmm and not sure if you should use mouse4 and mouse5 as controls, not all the people got those :P)
Overall:
It's the second game I play this jam and already I can say that I feel fully satisfied :)
Thank you so much for this amazing review !
It means a lot to me and your point of view about all different aspects is super rich, interesting and greatly encouraging.
I will from tomorrow continue to work on this one and I will add all those things you want in it plus all the things I wanted to put in and didn't have time to do.
Thank you again
