Very good gameplay, and nice art!
A fun platformer.
Solid platformer mechanics for a nice base game! Would've liked to see music that wasn't copywrite used, but the fact you timed ending the level to the music is great! It's a very nice detail. *chefs kiss*
Would've been cool if it was set in a vault or something since you're a robber. Maybe whoever just left all their coins lying out in the open like this deserved to have them stolen. :P
That's cool platformer. Nice work!
A surprisingly fun little game. Really nice pixel art, the transtition effect, the clock, and the bag were all really well-done, too. I also liked how the music seemed synced to the clock.
I only have two fairly minor issues. For starters, the zoomed-out version should be the default, or failing that, zooming out the default a little more. There's too many blind jumps on the zoomed-in version, which is a cardinal sin of platforming.
Secondly, I really wish the "thief" angle was played up more. Like maybe have the game set in a bank instead of a sky grassland, and adding in security cameras and policemen as hazards. For now it just seems like a regular platformer.
Overall, though, the game was really good, and I'd definitely like to see an expanded version. Just be careful with the Nintendo assets, though!
I think you might somehow be playing on a smaller screen/resolution than the game was intended to be played at. There shouldn't be any blind jumps at all, and the zoomed out version should be able to show you basically half of the level. Sorry about that. Anyways, thanks for the feedback!
That's odd. My screen is massive, it's 23 inches diagonally. It might be either because I picked up the coins that showed that there was ground or because something went weird with the export. Or maybe the screen's too big.
Nice classic platformer over here! I spent a good time on it. I love the transition effect when you fall off the cliff or when the character is bouncing when he die, it's funny!
I think the Level Design can be improve a little bit : There are some jumps, you don't know where you are suppose to land because there are no platform visible at the beginning of the jump. (Assuming you died once and have no information like the coins).
But, overall it's nice! Congratulations :)
Really solid platforming! The checkpoint system is really nice. The non-linear level design is great. I would love to see this game grown a bit more to make you more of a bad guy. Something like Super Wario World :)
Nice work!
Thanks!
It's a really solid game! The platforming feels good and the respawning is smooth and quick as well. I think the "checkpoint system" helps to stop frustration by always putting you back in a nice spot after you die!
It would be nice to be able to know the general locations of the coins you're left, when there are fewer left, but the controls are pretty good and the platforming is pretty fun, i really like it.
I really like this game! It's awesome! Although it's kinda hard. I tried it two times. You get better over time. The music is very cool! And the art is also good. This is a very good game! Everything in this game is good!
Cool game! The level is perhaps a bit large for the time you have but I did like how the music stopped just when the timer did, that's neat.
