Game's Take on the Theme
The boss has spinning attacks, it also rotates around the player and I included a mini hacking puzzle in which the Jam theme was implemented as a mechanic.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
yes

Hey There! :)
Great Game! Pretty cool 3D environment! Rated! ;)
Thank you if you visit mine as well!
All the best!
Its really well made, the neon look and sci fi graphics are quite fitting, the game mechanics are nice too, I rate graphics over the rest but all is cool really, also if you can please rate my game, thanks!!
Controls:
(NOTE: To be able to shoot it is necessary to lock on to the enemy, it is not necessary to hold the button or the run key, if you want to do multiple dashes it is just a matter of pressing the dash button several times.)
WADS | Left Stick ; Move Player,
Mouse | Right Stick ; Rotate Player (Camera),
Mouse Wheel Button | Right Stick Button ; Lock on to Enemy,
Escape | + ; Pause Menu,
E | A ; Interaction.
Left Shift | B ; Dash/Run.
Left Mouse Button | Y ; Shoot.
Right Mouse Button | X ; Secondary Shoot.
Interesting game. Lack of button prompts is a little unfortunate. Took me a while to figure out "E" was to interact
The art is amazing. It looks really well done. I have no complaints. It is really fun, and I enjoyed playing it a lot. Great job.
Pretty impressive-looking! I quite like the look of the arena and the first boss, and there's a pretty good variety of attacks.
I do feel like the boss has twice as much HP as I'd like, especially with the ammo mechanic, and some of the attacks really feel like they were meant for a jump button rather than a dodge, like the rings, lol.
I'm genuinely stunned at the level of production quality here, this feel of melancholic sci-fi very much felt akin to 1000xRESIST which is one of my favorite games in recent memory, so I was just hooked on the atmosphere from the get go. The boss' attacks are all very dynamic and the dodge definitely feels powerful enough to deal with the speed of his attacks. I did find the volume of health he had to be unnecessarily long to the point where I felt like I was just going through the motions past the halfway point, but the fact that I did beat him by the end does show that this game has enough safety nets for longer fights to be viable which is a very good thing. I also feel like the feedback for hitting and getting hit is too flat considering the incredibly impressive artwork and sound design, but in a jam there's just so much you can add in terms of game feel so I definitely get why you didn't have enough time to do all that.
I sincerely hope you continue to work on this project, because I absolutely adore this genre of sci-fi and if you're able to make a full boss rush experience in this style with bosses that are this dynamic then it'll be an absolute delight to play!
