Hey i enjoyed a lot the game, fits perfectly to the jam theme. Controls are fine, but I found dashing a little weird. The circling mechanic is very interesting as well, kinda hard in the beginning but possible after some training and using some strategy. I loved the art style and SFXs. Great work :)

I really like the fact you made a Beyblade inspired game, I also made one inspired in Beyblade haha, really cool what you have here, I like the visuals on top of everything and I rate accordingly but all is cool really, if you have time, please come rate my game, thanks!!

Fun game!

Initially I haven't thought I could beat the game, because controls felt a bit weird and I didn't really get what the left mouse click do and how to use it properly, but when I get how to use the right mouse click it became not that hard and I managed to complete it. Though I would say sometimes it felt like boss showed their weak spot, even when they weren't in the drawn circle, but maybe it is just me.

I really love the balance between arcade-style controls and the physical realism of both the boss and the character—the feel is just amazing! I've seen similar games, but so far, this is the best execution I've encountered!! I can see how much effort went into every element, right down to the start menu! (The exit joke got a laugh out of me).

Overall, this is a fantastic game that perfectly executes the theme of "spin" and boss battles! Great job!

Thanks for the kind words! Glad at least one other person laughed at my stupid joke lol

Great job fellow beyblade clone! I like the way you guys took this. Bouncing off the arena walls and the sound and even the music brings the vibe of the original show while keeping it unique with the design of the bosses. Really liked how bouncy it was when you hit a wall with a fully charged dash and just kinda ricocheted around!

We're glad you enjoyed it! Beyblades are pretty sweet huh

- Always appreciate a Linux build <3
- Physics felt good, boss had weight to them that felt threatening
- Took me a while to figure out how the dash works, it's clearly written in the tutorial tbf but I think an interactive tutorial would help onboard the player a bit better
- The circle/weak spot mechanic felt very hard to line up but it was super satisfying when you did get it
- Awesome music, very energetic
- Fun art style, love the boss art and dialogue popups mid-fight and how the menu art changes depending on the selection
- Good boss design, each boss had flavorful attacks that felt unique and thematic
- Minor bug - the volume slider in the menu lets you crank the volume up waaaay higher than max which causes the audio to clip/deep fry
Great job!

Appreciate the feedback! Yea I just checked and apparently I was the only one unaware that this was a bug lmao, apologies from the team for any hearing damage it might have caused :)

This was really fun!

The physics are really nice, the combat is really fun and even if it has a learning cliff instead of a learning curve I eventually managed to beat it, visuals are cute and match with the sipinning disc real-life game (I don't remember how it's called) music is great and the bossfights are well designed!

Developer(+1)

Glad to hear it was enjoyable! Yea the learning curve is insane but it gets pretty easy once you figure it out ngl

Very cool game, the bosses are very fun and the mechanics are intuitive and rewarding. The art is super fresh and fits the aesthetic of the game well. Great job all around!
