Hey There! :)
Great Game! Pretty cool cel-shading-like style. Rated! ;)
Thank you if you visit and rate mine as well!
All the best!
Really crazy and fun experience, I like it a lot, the acorns are funny there haha, I think you did an awesome job, I rate graphics and fun on top but all is great, if you can, please rate my game, thanks!!
Pretty cool game. The acorns looked like black dudes with a bob haircut, I thought I was shooting people, then I released they were acorns.
THIS IS PURE MADNESS, I LOVE IT!!! The fact that someone came up with this is incredible—definitely one of the most unique and fun gameplay experiences in this jam! An amazing job fueled by pure creativity!!! The developer is a genius!
Excellent game, I loved it!
First thing you made me discover motion sickness on a PC game which is certainly the last thing I would have expected to experience today :D
But let's get serious, I love the controls of the game and how it plays, you used cleverly the theme. It could have been a bit more slower but overall the game works fine.
I just feel like the second boss with the saws is just a bit too hard to dodge sometimes but that's pretty much everything I hve to say.
Congratulations, you're my favorite game so far!
Thank you so much, I had a lot of fun making it too! I realized too late that I messed up on the frame rate independence stuff so on higher frame rates (>120) it spins way too fast but hopefully I can fix that after the jam is over.
Very cool game. I'd highly recommend screenshots and some cover art. I feel a lot of people will dismiss trying the game without them.
The spinning was maybe a bit too fast; I felt a tad nervous doing it. That being said, after a bit of trial and error it felt very cool to dodge rockets left and right. My initial experience was me stepping in a direction at the start and rapidly spinning before accidentally shooting what I later realized was the start target.
The visuals are top-notch for this PS1 style and the SFX were nicely done; 'cept for the revolver which sounded a bit weird. Speaking of the revolver. I don't know why I'd ever switch to it. It seemed inferior to the rifle.
Cool game. I originally downloaded it as a bit of a meme assuming the lack of screenshots and cover art meant it wasn't going to be very good. I was very wrong.
I'm glad you liked it! I slept immediately after I submitted it but we got some screenshots now. There's a bit of a bug with framerates over 120hz that makes it overly sensitive. Thanks again for playing!
I made the mistake of not walking during the tutorial so you can understand my confusion when i started spinning in circles during the first area. The game was actually really fun though it was a really unique and fun time having to juggle shooting out targets while also spinning my platform to dodge missiles while metal music blasted in my ears.
The only question I have is the second boss infinite? Because I survived for a very long time with nothing happening before I eventually gave up and let the mighty saw lord take me.
Really fun game overall loved the use of the theme!
No the second boss is not infinite you have to shoot him a bunch in order to kill him, if anyone gets stuck I recommend experimenting with the boss and how to defeat them, example the slot machine boss you have to roll 3 sevens to kill him.
Legitimately very fun, its a must try!
