It's a great idea to add a minigame during the boss fight.
Hey There! :)
Great Game! Nice effects and cool atmosphere (mostly sfx)! Rated! ;)
Thank you if you visit mine as well!
All the best!
I like the atmosphere and the effects really, it feels quite natural to play and controls are smooth, I rate graphics over the rest but all is good, also if you can please rate my game, thanks!!
Unfurtunate journey for this one but I hope you can pick it up by yourself eventually! I think it has potential and I'd love to see you develop as a game maker!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere created by the sfx. The controls felt like I had a lot of dead time so it was hard to be responsive. That being said, swinging the scythe felt nice, I'm excited to look back in the future and see some textures on it!
I agree, really didn't wanted to mess with setting up animations and redoing controls for like 3rd time, as I was panicking to implement something else apart from the player. My team fell apart so pretty much had to do the thing myself with half the time. The good thing , that came out of the static combat is that it brought the idea of doing teleportation attacks. I'd say it needs a visual indicator so you know at least which way you will teleport. It is not clear from the gameplay, but you do less damage if you teleport vs standing still. Realised could have added a mana cost as well. Another idea that could have come out would have been the ability to spin around the target instead of teleportation, but don't think I would have finished it on time.
I didn't feel like I could control the mini game, and I think if you increase the animation of the scythe it might be more fluid but aside from that cool concept. The audio design for this is amazing
