It is a good idea for a game! It is a bit difficult, but very cool!

I like the idea for the game! also, I like the fish sprites. For constructive criticism: I don't know if it's a bug or not, but I found myself unable to catch any fish. If it's not a bug, maybe the game could somehow hint that?. Also, I feel like some platforms cannot be accessed. I also found the colors to be a bit chaotic and distracting, but that might have been the point. Good job!

Developer

Oh that's a pity. To catch fish: stand still on a platform and hit space. It is mentioned in the tutorial.

All platforms should be reached. Did you play it in full-screen?

Wow it's really an interesting  game idea you approached it well. fun game fun graphics! Great job!

Pretty cool game, subtly innovative in its platforming mechanics.

What a funny game, many bugs with the buyers queue but I succed to managed that. Graphics are very nice and colorful, gameplay loop is brillant and animations very nice. And I loved the music so much. GG !

Nice game. Think this is a pretty innovative idea for a platformer.

Also found the controls a bit strange, but can get used to it.

My biggest problem was at the beginning, that i didn't play in fullscreen and because of that couldn't see the menu's on the side, so didn't really understand what to do^^ Maybe you should at a hint herefore on your page or in the game directly.

Game idea is solid but like the previous commenter said the controls feel janky at times. specifically the window to go onto a platform from the trampoline feels to small and makes getting onto a specific platform more difficult.

Developer

The timing must be right indeed, and the steering must be done a bit earlier than you would expect.

You'll get used to it I think with a little practise.

i’m gonna be honest, the controls are very weird, and i couldn’t really figure out how to actually deliver the fish to the hippo guys, but the game looks pretty good

I noticed an offset in time with the queue. I succed to sell fish behind the queue.

Developer

Just ran into an issue: On some PCs the webversion is being loaded a bit too small, and then you miss the fish gauge (up to 6 fish in your mouth) and the life gauge (up to 6 life hearts). The game is still playable though, but maybe: a) playing it on full screen, or b) download the build for windows - will help.

Agree with the other comment, audio is a bit strong indeed. Nonetheless, it's a cool game! And I find it kinda polished for a 1 week JAM, great job^^

Hi! Awesome entry! I played for a while and love your game! Here is few tips: jump sound is too strong. Some quickier way back would be good to save time if you go too deep. Maybe enemy should attack you when jumping, it would be harder a bit. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment. Especially when descending, it's nice to be untouchable by the enemies; you still have no idea what you will encounter. In the end, the real goal of the game is not to survive, but to serve your customers. Hence the hot tub so you can recover. That takes time, which causes customers to leave...

You can quickly go up by choosing the trampolines well, and you know the map a bit.
