This is the best looking 2.5D game I've seen submitted! Which is especially impressive since it doesn't use public assets. Well done!
The game design could use a bit of work though. There needs to be a bit more direction to the player and the systems need to be explained better (I still have no idea how crafting works). Also some way to refill your oxygen while underwater would be nice (something like air bubbles that you can find).
Fun Experience! 🐸
Things I enjoyed ✔️
Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷♂️
Overall 📓
Great game! Had a fun time playing it. Your team should be proud of yourself for the work you all put into this game!
fun little game. needs a little more tutorial, I think.
Really great submission, good job <3
I think this game could use some more direction for the player. I spent a while swimming around different areas, killed a few sharks (once I figured out how to equip the harpoon anyway.
Adding mouse wheel to the controls at the beginning would be a good idea), and gathered some trash, but it seems the crafting system is not implemented yet.
Ultimately I could never quite figure out what I was meant to be searching for, so I repeatedly swam around and murdered sharks until I ran out of oxygen.
Thanks for the comment! The main goal of the game was not finished unfortunately. By the way, outside of the inventory, the mouse wheel works to switch the active slot :)
Really great submission! I would have loved to craft a big gun to use against the sharks. You matched the theme perfectly, the 3D perspective and colors are on point, and the music is so immersive! Awesome!
Thanks for the comment! About the gun, a very good idea :)
i like the poster of your game great art style the games graphic are rally great and it feel optimizated very good ,but i think the difficulty was so hard idk maybe im not pro tho but i really had troubles there i will try to play it again and see how can i be
Thanks for the comment! Our artist is really a genius. I didn't want to make sharks weak, because the harpoon solves problems with them (now it can be found at the bottom)
Oh my god when I discovered the shark could make it up to land, and get you by the edge of the coast I panicked!! XD Nice game design overall, it wasn't an overwhelmingly big game and it didn't feel directionless! It was a sort of weird vibe - am I a frog in a nurse's outfit? I didn't fully get it, but it added to the fun! :D I ran out of oxygen quicky too but, it motivated me to get things done. I like the sound you chose too! Nice that you did everything else yourselves:)
Thanks for the comment. The main character is a scientist turtle, who flew to a mysterious place to study the depths of the ocean, but crashed an airplane. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to add everything we had in mind to the game...
Omg sorry that makes more sense :') Don't worry, my eyesight is terrible, we're talking -7.
I liked the design and overall feel of the game: cute, fun, explorative. The shark attacks were a lot of fun, not too difficult but still hard enough to keep me moving. I swam through a few things that seemed like I wasn't supposed to and it may be because I kept dying but I wasn't able to figure out the crafting system. Really fun game.
Game Design is very good
Fun game. Good graphics, bright picture. Nice job)
The game is nice but I had difficulties to understand how to use the pieces that I found around.
Also I arrived where was the big metal crab but I could breath or return back.
I was trying to undestand what to do with the pieces I found when a shark attacked me also on the sand. (Like sharknado)
I thought I had commented on this game before but apparently I didn't, so here're my opinions: The game is really fun! a bit hard to understand at first, but it does make intuitive sense, which is really good. The graphics are also really good, I love the design of the main character!
Nice game! I spend some time figuring out the controls or what to do but i enjoy it once i got the gist of it.
Thanks)
Adorable and fun idea for a game :) Small tutorial or info about controls would have been nice ;)
Thanks! I think it's high time to release a patch with controls :)
Cool game! Are we playing as a frog btw?
Thanks! The main character is a turtle without a shell. That character has a long and difficult path, he has been used in all our games)
The cover art is so cute, and it has the concept of being a fun game, just need to polish things up and maybe give a brief tutorial of how to do things. I found the giant crab, but I'm assuming you ran out of time to make the fight (totally understandable)
Everything is as you said :) Thank for your comment! By the way, we continue to work on the mechanics that did not have time to finish
Works well. After getting the harpoon gun i managed to get crafting materials from sharks and boxes, but i didn't figure out how to craft stuff or if that was even possible. An explenation somewhere with the controls would be nice
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately we didn't have time to finish the crafting mechanics for which we prepared everything
playable
genius game 10/10
