How does your game fit the theme?
DOORS 64 has the user going through several different websites and areas on their computer, including the world wide web, on the hunt for code pieces for the chance to win a pile of AA batteries!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
all code and spritework were done by me. however, the music was taken from opengameart.org

YO.... It  reminded me a lot of stuff like the "Windows RG" flash from waaaaaay back then... loved the code hunt, the site parodies... fantastic work and fits the theme really well on diving deep on a internet rumor

WOOOH very very cool i love it!!

i didn't realize you could drag around windows, and then accidentally dragged one offscreen.. thankfully i did end up closing & reopening it tho

in the beginning i did actually look at email (and everything, i got a bunch of codes) before the chat app😭😭 you might wanna block clicking anything before that? cuz otherwise the email just seemed like a fourth wall break which put me off

it was a very simple & easy game, i don't think the email needed to mention the places you'd find the clues but it did make me think of some lore; would the friend happen to have some beef w/ the player and be purposely trying to sabotage their computer? (tbh more lore would've been nice but i am also just a story-focused person haha)

i like the theme interpretation and the graphics + sound design + polish were suuper nice, but i feel like it could've been executed a little more in relation to the theme (i felt like, instead of diving deeper through sites/etc., i was just covering surface level and looking broad instead of deep since most of the sites had no relation to each other except for them being ads; perhaps more interactivity and needing to look across multiple sites to access others would've been nice)

also like others said i kept going meow.com /ACCESS 💀 i thought that was the end..

Very great game! I really love how fun it was looking through all the fake websites (even though I for some reason thought I had to actually look them up irl lol)! 10/10 great game

This was such amazing fun to play! It's a really unique interpretation of the theme and had such a satisfying ending! :D

AMAZING GAME! I absolutely LOVED it! It's so polished and perfect, it's cool, well done, and the humor is very good! There's just one bug (Or just me not doing the right thing), when i try to access the last link, i just doesn't work! meow.com/ACCESS, meow/ACCESS.com , meow.com\ACCESS, ect.
In my opinion, this game deserves a 9,5/10 rating!

whoops, I guess it might have been a bit of  an oversight

basically, in the script for the access site, the domain is in all lowercase, so it's 'meow.com/access', not 'meow.com/ACCESS', and it's also caps sensitive

that's my fault, I should have made it a bit more clear lol

ohh okay, it's because you show it in uppercase in meow.com. Now i'm able to finish this amazing game xD
