Cool stuff, the graphics dont need to be super complex for a game jam. The gameplay was there it was pretty cool!

The game overall is pretty good. Yes, the graphics could use some more work, but all in all the gameplay was fun and the variety of features kept the game interesting. The only thing I can trully complain about would be the instant death room, as it punishes the player for no reason.

Really cool idea and gameplay, but maybe it's a little too punitive and difficult sometimes, expecially enemies and spikes. Also, would be great to have a minimap. Besides that, it's a nice game, good job!

I really liked the concept, but the execution was really bad for me. Died many times because of the floaty controls, enemies were very hard to kill, if you didn't have the weapon they were very dangerous. Would have preferred a smaller, more polished experience, gameplay wise it reminded me of The Binding of Isaac, but in that game fighting and surviving by avoiding projectiles and enemies are the main objectives.
Hope to see more games from you in the future!

The upgrades are cool, and it even has a couple of weapons! I agree with the platform being a little frustrating, but the spike rooms can be avoided if you're fast enough changing direction. The only complaint I would have is the level being way too big. I could not find a single gold key xD

It's possible to land on the exact edge of a platform on get stuck there.

Fun game, in theory. However, I've got a big problem with how incredibly unfair the randomness can be. There is quite literally a chance of losing all your lives without leaving the first room because of those spike rooms. Combat itself is buggy, usually with enemies preventing the player from moving or dealing too much/not enough damage due to the collision system. Maybe add a bit of air control, remove the insta-death rooms, and fix up the combat and this is a solid game!

Also, found a major bug where walking at the edge of the world will just send you falling out of it.

A solid game, I do wish that you could control the jump amount instead of the character doing a full jump every time. I liked the upgrades, keep it up :)
