Interesting setting and game, but because I suffer from a disease called "no friends" I played it alone.

Hope that you'll also rate mine :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690

Looks amazing especially for the game jam project! Great job ^^

Insanely impressive to get all of this done in a week. Unfortunately, the mechanics are not at all explained, and that really comes at the cost of enjoyment in my opinion. But again, very impressive

I can't believe that you did all that in one week AND multiplayer (I think) - BRAVO! I really like the sound of airbombs :D The only thing that bothers me is that I didn't (at the start) understand the goal of the game. Nice game!

The storm was genuinely unnerving, and the invisible enemies scared the hell out of me the first time I encountered them, good job!

Some feedback:

  • I think the shop broke, so I could sell items, but the icons for buyable items all disappeared.
  • It would be nice to have a controls screen, and tooltips and names for items in the store so that it's clear what we're buying and what it does.
  • I thought the movement felt good, and I really like the concept. The storm feels like an actual threat.
  • I didn't get to play with friends, but it's absolutely serviceable as a single-player experience. I can really see this being a great game to play on stream with friends for Twitch streamers.

It's definitely got a "Lethal Company meets  S.T.A.L.K.E.R." vibe, and it has a lot of charm!

This was a very ambitious project for a 1 week game jam, fantastic job!

Great Concept!
Waiting to see to become it a complete and published game...

The graphics, movement, and audio are absolutely insane for just a week-long jam. Gotta give it up to Unreal - a beast of an engine.

I was quite confused as to what I have to do in general, but figured I had to pick up some items and sell them to buy some items even though I didn’t know what they were or how to use them. Spammed E and F to later know that’s how interaction works.

At first I took a ton of damage from these creatures, then just kept running. The theme is perfectly incorporated, although a general direction of “doing stuff” is something I didn’t understand (maybe it’s just me!). AND IT’S MULTIPLAYER - that’s huge!

I can see this being akin to S.T.A.L.K.E.R in terms of art, style, and gameplay. Great job nevertheless!

Is it a multiplayer :o

The best game  that I have played in this challenge.  I like type post apocalytic   games. I hope  you win a good success.

Seems like a very ambitious project!

The game map is huge and sets the atmosphere perfectly. Running around it gives eerie vibes and chlls.

Unfortunately, the Monsters and the green fog were very glitchy and I didn't quite understand what is the point :(

The pause menu has no option to return to the game? I only saw options to invite a friend, go to settings or quit the game haha.

Overall very cool atmosphere and it seems like a ton of work, has good potential.

 Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing, can you go into more detail about the glitchy behaviour maybe I can provide answers or fix bugs haha

Oh wow! This is amazing. I thought it was going to flood because of the scuba gear (I called my character Scuba Man) so I kept jumping up to get to higher ground. Then this green acid started falling down so I went down the stairs and found arrows. (How did you make such a massive map? You're incredible!)

I was looking around finding some sort of background story (or additional oxygen?) when the scary-looking creatures started chasing me! I honestly thought I was screwed but when I went upstairs, the creature stopped and just ignored Scuba Man. I didn't dare to move anymore because I was scared D:

Well done! I am not very good with first-person games because I developed simulation sickness but I'm gonna give it a try again. (When I'm less scared)

I got a huge scare when I was walking around the map and one of those creatures suddenly appeared in my face xD

Very nice visuals and the sound design is very good! I wish you could have had a bit more time to see what your idea could offer! :)

Wow, this was a big game for a jam! Everything was great, though the footsteps were way too loud for me, and I’m not a fan of motion blur—I’d love to be able to turn it off. But that’s just my opinion. This could really become something bigger by adding more interactivity with the environment and a few other things. By the way, the environment looked amazing. Great game!

Did NOT expect a whole multiplayer game, the graphics were amazing and the character felt smooth to control. A lot of creepy vibes, encountered some random monster that was kinda glitchy lol

Hee-ho. Very realistic detailed levels. Looks good

The game idea is cool, nice map to begin with (it's big). Artstyle fits to the concept perfectly in my opinion. I would like to see the game developed in the future. Nice work and Good Luck!

The game has a lot of stuff in it, I had fun exploring and running around the map. You did a great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! c: We're glad you enjoyed the experience!

The game looks and runs well, but there were some console popups like lighting needing to be rebuilt, and then the game crashed. I think the game was released with debug.

Anyway, the game map is big, with lots of buildings and assets, and I quite liked the sheer size of it. It didn't feel like a game made in just a week, great job! I also feel like more time could be spent on adding more gameplay elements instead of making the map so big, because I ended up just running around and picking up items. (Maybe there are more gameplay elements that I just don't know, but there were no instructions so I couldn't tell...) I didn't see any enemies, even though the description says that enemies are supposed to attack the player.  Maybe something went wrong on my end.

I really like the visuals and layout of the environment, I think you guys nailed it with that! <3 I hope you continue to work on this piece cuz this seems like it can be a rather fun time if there is a little more to do.

Thank you so much for playing our game and the feedback! That's wonderful to know you enjoyed our environments! We have timed event mechanics as the day gets longer, oxygen levels deplete if spent too much time in gas, and flashlight battery drain. The enemies spawn rate increases as time goes on as well.
Thanks for letting us know about some of the bugs you encountered we'll try to fix them in the updated release!
