Thanks for checking out the game :D
Yeah it does take time getting used to it.

Thanks for checking out the game :3

Yesterday we found out that the font defaults to system theme on web build and web build does not know what to describe it so it shows like that. Changing to a font that has that character fixed it for me.
Once again I think its a great game :3

My other team members rated your game and they did not have this problem. I think its my issue only.

Thanks for checking out the game. We are making the keyboard controls more easy to use in the post-jam updates.

What would you like improved other than the keyboard controls?

Nice to see a multiplayer game. I would have liked to have a PVE mode. I think you might have to tweak the balance a bit. This looks good and plays good. The music is good.

Good work guys ^^

Good game.
I like the gameplay and the reflection of the theme being used as a prism.
Like the particles and music
Good work ^^

There are spaces around the border. I think this happens if you don't set the resolution properly in the web page. Please look into that for next time.

Thank you very much for checking out the game. It was a total team effort. We are planning to add more content.

It crashes at the after it loads into the browser. I see Godot logo and the loading bar and it crashes. I plan to give it a try later on when I install other broswer. Thanks for replying. I think if it works on your end it might be something specific to my browser

This looks good. I have to admit I am not good at puzzle type games. I will play it once again when I get some free time. Thanks for providing more info on the game.

You can make a theme once and use it for everything. I did the same for our game. It took me whole day to mess around with the theme property in the editor but it was totally worth it. If I were to do it again to learn faster,I recommend using any kenny's UI assets and try making theme once. You can also check our game credits on web page we added the assets used.

Thanks to you too! Now I know it's possible to do it and I understand things a lot better while playing the game.(Like the card feel etc)

Sadly I did not do a third playthrough.

Yeah keyboard we need to make it more fun. Right now it works really well with a controller. We tried our best to warn players playing it. It even has a splash screen recommending controller and on the webpage saying controller is recommended. Its a learning experience for me. Thanks for the feedback :3

Really unique idea and I like the art style. I think this project is a little big for the jam. The game was taking too long for me to kill the opponent. Would love to see a fully balanced version with accessibility.
There were no accessibility options, I felt the default settings were fine for me others may disagree tho

Overall really Good work for a first time jammer :3

Hi, thanks for trying out the game. Did you play with controller or keyboard?

Really fun game.
The buttons still look like default ones.
Otherwise no real complaints from me.
Good work ^^

I did not know what to do in the second level after the dialogue stopped. I ran around a bit but it would not go to another level. Did it twice. I can see what the game is doing and really unique take on reflection theme.
Good job ^^

This game totally rocks. I wish it had more accessibility settings.

Weird controls with numbers. Never heard of it being done that way ever. (Yeah I played the tutorial :p)
The art is beautiful and the music is nice. I especially like how parallax is reflected.

Are you guys using modules to pick different obstacles?

Except for the controls I don't have any complaints

Reflection being used as a comparison between humans and chimps that's an idea that no chimp could have taught of.
Really fun playing as a chimp.
Good submission and good work :3

Really fun game.
I like the idea of the game and the way it is executed.
It felt almost certain that the reflection will catch up to you maybe a health for reflection that it does for each level would be really cool to see.
The art and music are very minimalistic. I do like the hat.

Really good submission for a first time jammer. Good work ^^

Really simple game. But I don't understand how the theme plays into it. its more you are connecting than reflecting in my opinion. Anyways it an original idea
There was no music I could hear but SFX are nice
Overall good submission for a solo and second time participation level

I like the faithful reproduction of the Balatro game. I have not played Balatro before.

I came across a YouTube tutorial that showcasing how to reproduce the style. I watched it a couple of times to understand how to juice up the game. (This put your game on my radar)
Sadly for my game ,the shop got cut due to cutting endless mode, so I gave up on that.

The gameplay was very frustrating as I was dealt a bad hand.
The reflection theme is really unique to me.

Being top rated in a jam attracts lots of people who don't vibe with the game and give negative reviews. I tried my best understand the genre and give a rating that would be helpful.

Good work ^^

Very cool idea. I would have made the mirrors the central theme of the game. I understand that you want to make the player get used to the game before adding in the mirrors but I think for reflection theme you should start with the mirrors.

Also where is the cute vampire in the thumbnail. Having a mirror does not stand out in a jam about reflection when everyone is going to have some sort of mirror. I think cat vampire is way better looking and animated

I like the you win dialogue. Makes me remember the good old days of Tekken.

The visual aid broke on the web build. We also faced the same issue, you might want to change the font used for the visual aid.

Good work :3

The game did not open in chrome for me. As such I did not rate it. Just putting this here if you want to update it later on

This is a good concept. I think the art style did not mesh properly with each other, they clash in my opinion.
I like the extra details of tank tracks and tank is really good to control

you can use button.grab_focus() to highlight the button to use for  gamepad or keyboard instead of start button. Controls say RT for the controller but its really RB. In my submission also we struggled with RT.

Overall good submission and good work ^^

This game is good. I like the art and the music
The UI for buttons and menu is not really done but the gameplay is good.
Really good job with showing the trajectory
Good job ^^

The camera work on this game is really nice.
I did not like the controls.
I am not a platformer guy but I tried my best to finish the game and I quit after I kept pressing SPACE to jump instead of UP and kept dying

Good entry. I recommend adding control mapping and accessibility next time. You can find template addons for those easily if you don't want to do them

This is a really interesting idea. It stopped at expeditions and was it the end?
It is a good attempt in my opinion and the writing was nice. It was fun for me as I play a lot cRPGs.

I think the game should have gone with more options to fully capitalise on this genre of games.

This game has some really impressive animation and art style.

The gameplay is really confusing and there is not much polish done. I did not know how to end my turn and in second level I got a random defeat screen. On my first playthrough the kappa after dying spawned on the player spirit location and I think I got locked in the game with no way to progress.

I made a grid based game before and this GDQuest Tutorial really helped me. You might want to check it out if not already.

Good effort.

This game has a unique art style. I couldn't figure out the way to play the game. A tutorial could really help the game.
Also noticed that the window in the browser for the game is too big for the game. It shows black bars for me

Really good idea executed well.
I had some inconsistency with the way the mirrors reflected the beam. Other than that it was super good. Good job :3

Really original idea.
Feels like that once office episode.
I don't have anything negative to say about the game except that it was too small even in full screen.

I like the concept of the game. Tying the game mechanics to five stages is really good idea for a game and its well executed here.

The art style is faithful and charming
I did not hear any music playing in the levels ( not sure if its intentional or not)

I am not a platformer jumping guy. I could not progress the second stage where I had to press F for mid air blocks and the fire would kill me even if I moved so I stopped there.

There were no accessibility settings I could see.
Really good entry for the game. Good work ^^

I can't read this. I literally got a headache and my eyes started to hurt. I think its a shader(I am not sure). An accessibility setting to remove this will be good start for me. As I did not play the game, I did not rate it.

This is a really good narrative game. I forgot I was rating a game. This genre of games is not my taste but I was really into because of the art style of the game.
I like the music and the art style and especially the chibi main character :3 (looks like final fantasy dark mage)
The environment really conveys the atmosphere really well and writing adds to it.
Good job guys ^_^

Sadly I got the bad ending, I did not know the right answer ^^'

I like how charming are the slimes and the gameplay is fun.
Reflection is the primary mechanic on the game and is implemented well.
The UI for dash is not good. It doesn't pop out when it available and not easily noticeable that its still on cool down. I recommend using some bright colour popup and some scale increase tween when its available.

I like the music and the overall concept of the game. The accessibility settings are really good.
I think you guys ran out of time to do the UI for the buttons and shop.

I like that as a vampire we can have minions but its only in preparation phase, I would have done it in a way that I can go into stealth and make some minions or if the enemies are in my view cone they can fall into my control. I felt this was not utilised

The art looks really great except for some UI.

I am not sure how reflection plays into the game. I destroyed some mirrors to get the shards and it allowed me to duplicate my minions ( I only had one at that time so I am not sure). Reflection feels like a secondary mechanic in the game. I like to see how you guys will tackle reflection as primary with vampire.

I noticed vampire can attack through walls and the hit range of the enemies was not clear so gameplay wise it suffered for me.

Overall good submission in my opinion. Would love see a full realisation of the game

This game idea is really good. I got stuck on how to return stuff to anthill.
