How does your game fit the theme?
The idea for the game came from a lot of conspiracy communities use of 'storm' imagery. It's powerful stuff, and so it attracts a lot of grifters who want to work it into their sales pitches, trying to pawn off overpriced, useless crap on their listeners, sometimes making huge returns in the process.
It can make people a lot of money, and get them a lot of attention. Consequently, there are a lot of people who end up doing this. As some recent high profile examples have shown, when you get into this business there is a reconning that comes somewhere down the line. It's not the fictional political storm that wipes out your enemies. It's all the chaos, and dishonesty, catching up to you and tearing whatever you built down around you. You can only rake in that grift money for so long.
So with all that in mind, we aimed to build a misinformation, grift, deck builder.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We had some stock assets, mostly sound effects and a font.

Like others have said, I was unable to try the game. But the art style looks nice!
Best game I've played this jam, and I haven't even played it.
10/10
The game is brilliant, very philosophical. Gets you thinking about what life is.
Concept is interesting, but it's a shame I can't play the game
Cool
there's such a cool idea here, i really wish there was a way to play the game :( if this ever gets released during or post-jam, i'd love to try it out! i hope you guys end up expanding on this concept.
cool idea, and the background/cover art is cool. as it is, it's a good piece of work.
"So with all that in mind, we aimed to build a misinformation, grift, deck builder." What a hard fucking line to end on.
A little disappointed there isn't actually a game, but I appreciate the commit to the bit.
Feels bad there is no way to try the game, but interesting idea nevertheless
very cool presentation, but I can't really start the game?
Very cool idea! Wish I could play it
