whats ur username!! :^) thanks for trying our game~

hii, i'd love to try the game out but i'm having a few issues with running it!

there's such a cool idea here, i really wish there was a way to play the game :( if this ever gets released during or post-jam, i'd love to try it out! i hope you guys end up expanding on this concept.

a really funny take on the theme, i enjoyed this game a lot more than i really shouldve.. the minigames were fun and many laughs were had :] really loved this game!!

i liked the concept, i think if you were given a bit more time, the gameplay could have felt a bit more polished. really liked this entry regardless, reminded me how boring life was during lockdown 😭(in a good way btw, your game really does capture the essence well LOL)

the character art is really charming! it took me a little bit to get used to the timing and the controls, though i had a lot of fun either way!

i love visual novels, and i loved yours to bits!!

i had some issues with songs playing at the same time; though i can appreciate the type of transition in mood you were trying to create with that! i think the music suits your theme very well.

the story is short and sweet, and i liked the multiple choices within the game! there's so much effort put into this entry, and there's so many cgs (which you sometimes don't even see in a professionally published vn!! so be proud!) the godot plushie was super cute too :3

overall great work!! the characters were very charming!

the shaders are super lovely, both the visuals and music give your game such an awesome vibe. one of the coolest games i've found in the jam, and your colour palette really accentuates the uniqueness of this game!

i really enjoyed the concept, as well as the increasing difficulty as you go on. i think the use of the time manipulation really helps to make your game feel a lot more unique! really great work, especially for a week timeframe!

yep!! i made the videos in camtasia (you could just make/edit a video in any editor for this though), then saved it as an mp4 and got our programmer to add it in. i imagine you could make similar cutscenes with 2D assets in unity though!

the shooting is super satisfying! i adore the simplistic graphics as well, this is some awesome stuff :)

the gameplay loop is super fun, i loved the graphics and animations too! everythings so mesmerizing to watch bahaha. the logo art is also super cute, i love the way you've turned the letters into different structures or materials :] i think a bit of balancing should be done, its a bit tricky to get resources such as metal (though i think a few other comments have mentioned that already so i won't drag that on for too long). great game nonetheless!

the voice acting was an awesome touch, the dinosaurs and the art in general look really nice! amazing work, i really liked the lore of your game as well! it really fits the theme :D

i saw rhythm and stealth in the description and i knew i had to play bahaha- the graphics and music are masterfully done; a more minimalistic artstyle that is simple yet very effective! i dont have any critique or negative feedback; awesome job!

the sprites are super cute, i love the animations you've done for them! a really solid entry for this game jam, and i had a lot of fun! nicely done!

not to sound fishy but it was hard to keep clam while playing this game >_^ in all seriousness i really loved this entry! your limited colour palette really helped with the theme, and the pops of red made a lot of the visuals very positively striking. i had some troubles with the controls but was still lots of fun despite that!

awesome work for your first game! i'd love to see how you go on progressing it if you choose to after the jam, i loved the concept and its clear you've put a lot of effort into this. some of the camera movement was a bit jarring for me, though it's still an awesome game considering you've made it in a week. great job!!

as of writing this, i'll be the 20th rating, and i'm so surprised this game hasn't gotten more traction yet! the visuals and music are some of the most unique i've seen in the jam thus far, i genuinely cannot express how much i LOVE the music. like seriously get this stuff on spotify i will listen to it every day. i had a few performance issues, though it could be a specs issue on my end. regardless, this was an amazing experience! your game has such a striking style visually, and the game play is super fun. you should be proud!

this game was awesome, i loved the puzzles, and your entry in general, so much! you guys have such a solid branding on your theme, it feels like something professionally made that i could play entirely on steam (which is CRAZY for a 1 week game jam, by the way). there's so much creativity and thought put into the puzzles, and they felt very satisfying to complete. well done, this is such a great game!

super underrated! got just over 1000 points on my first playthrough, its super fun and i can see myself replaying this game a ton. the ui is very well made and theres a lot of detail within it! well done, i hope your game is found by a lot more people!

thank you for the kind words and the feedback! we did really try to push for a not-so-typical tower defense game, i'm glad we had a lot of elements in our game that contributed to that.

i'm seeing that we have a few complaints regarding the turrets, i sort of agree that the timers for respawning a new turret feel a bit too lengthy. both the type of turret as well as the location is very much RNG, on some runs you're guaranteed to have a victory whereas on others (as you said) the player might be punished a bit too hard. to combat this we added wall placement and enemy path manipulation, though i can definitely see where some faults may lie in that too. regardless, thanks so much for giving our game a shot! hopefully we can implement your feedback in future!

that's a pretty good call for balancing, thank you so much for the feedback! and thank you for giving our game a shot!! i do agree that the turret timers could be fixed a bit; depending on how the team feels it might be something we fix post-jam!

thank you for sinking so much time into our game!! glad to hear you enjoyed it!

P.S. i agree but godddd they are satisfying to watch

thank you for the feedback!! the random turret placement is supposed to assist in giving you a fresh and different playstyle with each run; sorry if this caused you to have a bad experience D: regardless, thank you for checking our game out! it means the world <3

thank you so so much for the kind words!! i'll be sure to play your game soon, it looks awesome!

i never would have guessed!! you did a great job depicting it either way!

as a lover of tower defenses, this was certainly not an exception!! i love the assets/pixel art to bits, it looks awesome and suits the game so well. you guys nailed the theme and the gameplay is very well done! i think it couldve worked a bit better with some added sounds, though otherwise this is a great game! really well done!

the pixel art really gives the game a sort of 'retro arcade' type of feeling! i like the simplicity of it, the addition of the cow projectile was super funny to me. great effort! i think this concept has a lot of potential and you did a great job for the 1 week timeframe :DD

i really liked the assets created for all the dinosaurs! there were so many interactions, i found myself trying to do every possible interaction, even if nothing happened bahaha. my game did end up crashing, though it could be just a specs issue on my end? lots of fun was had with this game either way! i love it :D

really liked this one, the fishing mechanic is really fun, and i like the music that accompanies it! the qte for the storm was pretty hectic and serves as a great interpretation of the storm :D it fits both the concept theme as well as the one for your own game! i wish there was more choice when zooming, though i enjoyed this quite a bit!

very funny, i'm australian so i've only ever heard about the chaos that ensues during black friday, but this game really helps to put it into perspective haha! the graphics are simple, yet effective! and i like the switchup that happens during the 'storm' of the game!

thank you so much!!

loved the character design! i enjoyed playing this one a lot, even if i wasnt very great at it :'D awesome work!!

REAAAALLY really polished, it is genuinely so hard to tell that this was made in a week!! everything was super well made and implemented throughout the project, and the gameplay loop is pretty fun to me personally! i had a few issues and bugs when playing the tutorial, but otherwise i adored this game! serious props to everyone who worked on this!

i really liked the graphics, and the combat system was great but a little tough for me! i enjoyed playing through this, the music is a good addition as well. really good work!

love the art in this game! theres a lot of care put into each asset and it really does show! i did struggle a bit with getting objects back to the right places, which made it a bit tricky (its not suuuper clear), but otherwise its pretty great!

a very unique and enjoyable experience! i loved your take on the theme, and it was cool to see that the different cutting techniques corresponded to the different enemies (though it was a bit tricky to remember- in a good way!!).  awesome work!

i love the solid and established aesthetic your game has! i also adore the notebook assets so much.. you can tell the amount of thought that went into each detail, and though i had some camera issues, i really enjoyed the gameplay! really fun and well polished, especially within the week timeframe!

really interesting puzzle game with a great concept :) the assets helped with the portrayal of the theme too, in my opinion! i appreciate the addition of instructions too, helped me out a ton when playing :D
