I don't know why, but I liked it. If only all aspects could be tightened up, it would be great.

Really cool idea! I kind of wish there were more puzzle elements, but understand the lack of time aspect. Great job!

I really loved this, the whole idea was very innovative.

I would have liked to see more puzzle elements to spending points/creating props.

But for what we got I enjoyed it! :)

Big fan of this, despite it being so short. The solution for the second locked door was especially nice.

The idea of reusing resources was a neat twist, even though I got a bit stuck on that locked door. Despite a few bugs, the mix of old-school charm and modern design are working well. Keep up the good work!

Really interesting mechanic! I would've reallt like to use more of it, I wasn't able to open the Locked door, is there a way to do that though?

Also the fact that you can get the resources back (e.g. from the ramp) after you use them could have been an interesting element for having to think about the economy of it.

Nice job!

Thank you!

The first locked door should open with a key behind the boxes to the left of it, The second should open with a key from the right hallway!

(The key is in a ball above the hall, if you step on the key, it could clip under the ground, I didn't have time to fix it lol )

Reminds me of Unreal Gold (probably because of the gun with that smooth looking vertex shading)

Maybe it barely fits the theme, but hey - you made a game.

And on top of that, a 3D one with level that doesn't have collision traps and weird collision related bugs. With well shaded areas and working mechanics.

The character camera homes in to the right all the time but i suppose it's a bug - yea making a FPS controller from scratch in Unity is kinda pain.

Even if you didn't make all of these elements, you started somewhere and were able to export a working WebGL build. I hope that you learned new stuff from this project and that you will use it for future crafts.

In my scuffed experience i use gamejams (it's my 2nd gamejam lmao) to get a kick in the ass to do something when i'm feeling like i don't have any ideas. Otherwise i try to think on my own special game and write down anything feasible to reasess what should i do next.

Developer

Thank you! This post made my day!

I definitely used this gamejam as an excuse to actually make something lol.

(Never got a chance to play Unreal Gold, but Unreal Tournament was definitely an inspiration for the graphics, along with half-life and other misc psx games!)

Hey, that was a pretty cool game. The concept and game mechanics of being able to reuse parts is pretty cool. I love the design of the game, which looks old-fashioned but modern at the same time. The game was a bit shorter than expected and maybe a bit janky here and there, but if you had been given more time, this game would have been awesome.

Really nice! The idea was great! If it was bigger it would be really nice because the concept was great!
