I really get what you where trying to go for but it feels like you ran out of time. I was able to just click assign with no workers and fix the pot holes all game until it just timed out. But, the art is very nice and if you had more time it could have been great!
You see what happened to us. We ran out of time, and did some last minute modifications on the UI and the assign process. It was a bad idea. We are working on the fixing part, and we will post an update on the game after the rating ends. Thanks for visiting us at Potropolis!
The game has some quirks, the UI for the potholes, for example. You don't even need to assign a worker and the pothole will start fixing itself. Also if the pothole is a large one, and you want to assign 3 workers, you select the first one, select the second one, select the third one, the second one gets deselected automatically so you have to select the second one again and then click "assign". And sometimes when I select a smaller hole, the lights for the workers are already lit up, clicking on the "assign" button doesn't decrease the available workers count.
But you did a pretty good job nevertheless, the visuals look really professionally done :)

Thanks for the details on the bugs. We found a few of them as well. The assign tab and process have some issues. Sorry for that.

Nice graphics and a good concept for the game, but it would have been nice to see some progress indicators on the repairs. If the cars had been animated driving around, that would have been very cool. You could have seen which potholes they were approaching then as well.
For a week's work, that's pretty good :-)
Thanks for the kind words and the suggestion about the progress indicator. It was in the scope to have some AI cars, and people to fill our little city with a bit more life. Sadly we ran out of time. But come back later, probably we will update the game sometime after the rating ends.

Nice game with a unique concept..Sound effects would've been nice... However I really enjoyed playing this game..The controls were simple and easy to grasp.. Nicely done..
Thank you, unfortunately loads of our ideas aren't in the game yet, sound effects is one of them, but we are planning to add some modifications after the Jam ends. Stay tuned of you liked the game ;)

Cool concept, and a unique take on the theme. Gameplay is fun and it looks nice, maybe adding moving cars or something to make it more dynamic.

Interesting concept. It gave me a feeling like Cities:Skylines.
However, the mechanic of this game is kind of flat.
Maybe add some simulation stuff like expansion or upgrades would be more fun.

Unique take on the theme, I feel like there should be some kind of graphical indicator on the overworld of which potholes are being worked on. Other than that, issa nice strategy game.

Kinda reminds me of Cities Skylines but you fix potholes. Nice work!
Probably one day we will have a creative mode where you can build your own city! We like those kind of games. But we prefer Transport Tycoon Deluxe!

What a solid strategy game with great 3d graphics! Maybe you could keep the camera still when trying to select the workers.
