What does everyone think the theme will be about? My first guess is its going to be about  Old and ancient. 

I think it would be a good topic for jam. But I hope that this will be connected with the representation of ordinary mechanics in an unusual way

I think it's gonna be something around sick love. Why? Valentine's day + Coronavirus .

My bet is: "Bitter wishes". Vague enough to leave ample freedom to the partecipants, and with that feelings of simplicity and complexity at the same time, like a game jam theme.

Here some quick ideas using this theme:

1. Everytime you complete a level, you will be granted one wish (powerup), but with a drawback [Top-Down-Shooter/Strategy]
2. You have to give some nasty presents to your hated coworker(s) without him finding out [Stealth/RPG]
3. Maybe your protagonist simply whishes to eat some dark choccolate [Platformer/Puzzle/Exploration]

Well I think TheDutchMagikarp is good in foreshadowing, so may be it has to do something with theorizing
